3,440. Maaser Mixed With Chullin
Hilchos Maaser 8:4
Similar to the case in the previous halacha, if tithes from which terumas maaser was not taken got mixed with secular produce that was rectified, even the smallest amount renders the mixture prohibited. If the person has other tithes, he takes from them the terumas maaser in the proper ratios. If he doesn’t have other tithes, he must take tithes and give up from the rectified chullin a volume equal to the terumas maaser in the tithes.
Hilchos Maaser 8:5
Pursuant to the previous halacha, if 100 seah of maaser got mixed with 100 seah of rectified chullin, he takes 110 seah from the mixture. Everything he takes is considered the tithes and the remaining 90 seah are chullin. Similarly, if the volume of the chullin is more or less than the volume of these tithes, he takes maaser plus, from the chullin, a volume equal to the terumas maaser in the maaser.
