3,438. How to Tithe Two Baskets

Hilchos Maaser 7:13

The tithes in the previous halacha are taken as follows: One may take the tithes for both baskets from one of them, or he takes tithes from each by itself if the baskets are the same size. If one basket is larger than the other, he should take tithes for the larger basket from the smaller, and vice versa.

Hilchos Maaser 8:1

Produce from which the terumah gedolah and terumas maaser have been taken are called “chullin" (“regular produce” or “secular produce”). If the other tithes have been taken from it, it called “chullin that has been rectified.”
