3,336. Doubtfully Unclean Terumah

Terumos 12:2

If there’s a doubt as to whether terumah has been rendered unclean, it may not be eaten and it may not be burned. Rather, one puts it aside until it’s definitely been rendered unclean and then it’s burned. There are cases of doubt in which terumah is burned, as we will discuss IY”H in Hilchos Shaar Avos Hatuma.

Terumos 12:3

If there’s a doubt as to whether a barrel of wine has been rendered ritually unclean, one may not do anything with it. One may not move it from its current location nor display it. Rather, he must leave it where it is until it’s definitely been rendered unclean and must be burned. We are not concerned that it may be consumed.
