3,312. Forcing Oneself to Eat Terumah

Terumos 10:8

If someone is full and the thought of eating disgusts him, but he keeps eating terumah anyway, he need not add the extra fifth as per Leviticus 22:14, “When one will eat...,” i.e., in the regular manner of eating and not in a destructive fashion. One who chews raw kernels of barley is likewise not liable because doing so is harmful.

Terumos 10:9

If a non-kohein unwittingly swallowed terumah prunes and then he brought them up, after which someone else also unwittingly ate them, the first person must repay the value and add the extra fifth, while the second person must pay the first one the value of wood.
