3,257. The Terumah of a Wine Vat
Terumos 4:13
Workers may not take terumah without the landowner’s permission except for those who tread grapes in the vat. These may separate terumah because if they wanted to render the wine ritually unclean, they could do so in an instant. Since the wine was entrusted to them to such an extent, they are considered agents, with the result that if they take terumah, it is valid.
Terumos 4:14
If a hired hand is told by the landowner to first bring in the granary and then to separate terumah, but he separated the terumah first and then brought in the granary, what he separated is valid terumah.
