936. Starting on the Succah

133:29 We eat, drink and rejoice after Yom Kippur as per Koheles (Ecclesiastes) 9:7, "Go eat your bread in joy and drink your wine in good spirits because G-d has already started your redemption."

133:30 A person who is scrupulous in his mitzvah observance starts building his succah immediately after Yom Kippur ends in order to fulfill the dictum that we should go from strength to strength (Psalms 84:8). (The succah should be completed the next day if possible - Mishnah Brurah 624:19.)
