902. Avinu Malkeinu

129:10 It is appropriate to refrain from marital relations on the two nights of Rosh Hashana even if it falls on Shabbos. If it is the wife's mikvah night, one should not deviate from their usual time together, though the husband should then go to the mikvah the next morning.

129:11 On Rosh Hashana, when one recites "Avinu Malkeinu," he should not beat his chest with his fist as we do on a weekday or on Yom Kippur. This is because we do not say Vidui (confession) on Rosh Hashana since it is a yom tov. We should have in mind the meaning of "Avinu Malkeinu," that "our fathers sinned before You" when they worshipped idols, but "we have no king except You," so please "deal with us for the sake of Your name." (When Rosh Hashana falls on Shabbos, Avinu Malkeinu is not recited at all - Rema 584:1.)
