(מ) כִּֽי־אֶשָּׂ֥א אֶל־שָׁמַ֖יִם יָדִ֑י וְאָמַ֕רְתִּי חַ֥י אָנֹכִ֖י לְעֹלָֽם׃ (מא) אִם־שַׁנּוֹתִי֙ בְּרַ֣ק חַרְבִּ֔י וְתֹאחֵ֥ז בְּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט יָדִ֑י אָשִׁ֤יב נָקָם֙ לְצָרָ֔י וְלִמְשַׂנְאַ֖י אֲשַׁלֵּֽם׃ (מב) אַשְׁכִּ֤יר חִצַּי֙ מִדָּ֔ם וְחַרְבִּ֖י תֹּאכַ֣ל בָּשָׂ֑ר מִדַּ֤ם חָלָל֙ וְשִׁבְיָ֔ה מֵרֹ֖אשׁ פַּרְע֥וֹת אוֹיֵֽב׃ (מג) הַרְנִ֤ינוּ גוֹיִם֙ עַמּ֔וֹ כִּ֥י דַם־עֲבָדָ֖יו יִקּ֑וֹם וְנָקָם֙ יָשִׁ֣יב לְצָרָ֔יו וְכִפֶּ֥ר אַדְמָת֖וֹ עַמּֽוֹ׃ {פ}
(מ) אֲרֵי אֲתְקֵנִית בִּשְׁמַיָּא בֵּית שְׁכִנְתִּי וַאֲמָרִית קַיָּם אֲנָא לְעָלְמִין: (מא) אִם עַל חַד תְּרֵין כְּחֵזוּ בַרְקָא מִסּוֹף שְׁמַיָּא וְעַד סוֹף שְׁמַיָּא תִּתְגְּלִי חַרְבִּי וְתִתְקֵף בְּדִינָא יְדִי אָתֵב פֻּרְעֲנוּתָא לְסָנְאַי וּלְבַעֲלֵי דְבָבַי אֱשַׁלֵּם: (מב) אֱרַוֵּי גִּירַי מִדְּמָא וְחַרְבִּי תִּקְטוֹל בְּעַמְמַיָּא מִדַּם קְטִילָן וְשִׁבְיָן לְאַעְדָּאָה כִתְרִין מֵרֵישׁ סָנְאָה וּבְעֵל דְּבָבָא: (מג) שַׁבָּחוּ עַמְמַיָּא עַמֵּיהּ אֲרֵי פֻּרְעֲנוּת עַבְדוֹהִי צַדִּיקַיָּא יִתְפְּרַע וּפֻרְעֲנוּת יָתֵיב לְסָנְאוֹהִי וִיכַפַּר עַל אַרְעֵיהּ וְעַל עַמֵּיהּ:
40. Because I have established the place of My presence in the heavens and I said, I endure forever. 41. When[1] My sword is revealed like the appearance of twofold lightning from (one) end of the heavens to (the other) end and My hand grasps judgment, I will return punishment on those who hate Me and I will repay My adversaries. 42. I will intoxicate My arrows with blood, and My sword will kill among the peoples, from the blood of the slain and the captive,[2] to take (the) crowns from the head of the hater and the enemy.” 43. Nations, praise His people, because He works punishment over His righteous servants and He will return punishment to those who hate Him, and He will atone for His land and for His people.
