(י) וַיְצַ֥ו מֹשֶׁ֖ה אוֹתָ֣ם לֵאמֹ֑ר מִקֵּ֣ץ ׀ שֶׁ֣בַע שָׁנִ֗ים בְּמֹעֵ֛ד שְׁנַ֥ת הַשְּׁמִטָּ֖ה בְּחַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃ (יא) בְּב֣וֹא כׇל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לֵֽרָאוֹת֙ אֶת־פְּנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בַּמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִבְחָ֑ר תִּקְרָ֞א אֶת־הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּ֛את נֶ֥גֶד כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּאׇזְנֵיהֶֽם׃ (יב) הַקְהֵ֣ל אֶת־הָעָ֗ם הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֤ים וְהַנָּשִׁים֙ וְהַטַּ֔ף וְגֵרְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּשְׁעָרֶ֑יךָ לְמַ֨עַן יִשְׁמְע֜וּ וּלְמַ֣עַן יִלְמְד֗וּ וְיָֽרְאוּ֙ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם וְשָֽׁמְר֣וּ לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת אֶת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵ֖י הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּֽאת׃ (יג) וּבְנֵיהֶ֞ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־יָדְע֗וּ יִשְׁמְעוּ֙ וְלָ֣מְד֔וּ לְיִרְאָ֖ה אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם כׇּל־הַיָּמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתֶּ֤ם חַיִּים֙ עַל־הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתֶּ֜ם עֹבְרִ֧ים אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֛ן שָׁ֖מָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ {פ}
(י) וּפַקִּיד משֶׁה יָתְהוֹן לְמֵימָר מִסּוֹף שְׁבַע שְׁנִין בִּזְמַן שַׁתָּא דִשְׁמִטְּתָא בְּחַגָּא דִמְטַלַּיָּא: (יא) בְּמֵיתֵי כָל יִשְׂרָאֵל לְאִתְחֲזָאָה קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ בְּאַתְרָא דִּי יִתִּרְעֵי תִּקְרֵי יָת אוֹרַיְתָא הָדָא קֳדָם כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתַשְׁמְעִנּוּן: (יב) כְּנוֹשׁ יָת עַמָּא גֻּבְרַיָּא וּנְשַׁיָּא וְטַפְלָא וְגִיּוֹרָךְ דִּי בְקִרְוָיךְ בְּדִיל דְּיִשְׁמְעוּן וּבְדִיל דְּיִלְּפוּן וְיִדְחֲלוּן מִקֳּדָם יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן וְיִטְּרוּן לְמֶעְבַּד יָת כָּל פִּתְגָּמֵי אוֹרַיְתָא הָדָא: (יג) וּבְנֵיהוֹן דִּי לָא יָדְעוּן יִשְׁמְעוּן וְיַלְּפוּן לְמִדְחַל יָת יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן כָּל יוֹמַיָּא דִּי אַתּוּן קַיָּמִין עַל אַרְעָא דִּי אַתּוּן עָבְרִין יָת יַרְדְּנָא תַּמָּן לְמֵירְתַהּ:
10. Moshe commanded them, saying, “At the end of seven years, in the time of the year of release,[1] at the festival of booths,[2] 11. when all Israel comes to appear before Hashem your God in the place that He will favor, you shall read this Torah before[3] all Israel, and cause them to hear it.[4] 12. Assemble the people – the men, and the women, and the children, and your convert who is in your cities – in order that they may hear and in order that they may learn, and they will revere before Hashem your God and observe to perform all the words of this Torah. 13. And their sons, who didn’t know, will hear and learn to revere before Hashem your God all the days that you live on the land that you cross the Jordan there to inherit.
