Parshas Ki Savo - Chamishi
(יא) וַיְצַ֤ו מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת־הָעָ֔ם בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא לֵאמֹֽר׃ (יב) אֵ֠לֶּה יַֽעַמְד֞וּ לְבָרֵ֤ךְ אֶת־הָעָם֙ עַל־הַ֣ר גְּרִזִ֔ים בְּעׇבְרְכֶ֖ם אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן שִׁמְעוֹן֙ וְלֵוִ֣י וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה וְיִשָּׂשכָ֖ר וְיוֹסֵ֥ף וּבִנְיָמִֽן׃ (יג) וְאֵ֛לֶּה יַֽעַמְד֥וּ עַל־הַקְּלָלָ֖ה בְּהַ֣ר עֵיבָ֑ל רְאוּבֵן֙ גָּ֣ד וְאָשֵׁ֔ר וּזְבוּלֻ֖ן דָּ֥ן וְנַפְתָּלִֽי׃ (יד) וְעָנ֣וּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם וְאָ֥מְר֛וּ אֶל־כׇּל־אִ֥ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל ק֥וֹל רָֽם׃ {ס}
(יא) וּפַקִּיד משֶׁה יָת עַמָּא בְּיוֹמָא הַהוּא לְמֵימָר: (יב) אִלֵּין יְקוּמוּן לְבָרָכָא יָת עַמָּא עַל טוּרָא דִגְרִזִּים בְּמֵעֲבָרְכוֹן יָת יַרְדְּנָא שִׁמְעוֹן וְלֵוִי וִיהוּדָה וְיִשָּׂשׂכָר וְיוֹסֵף וּבִנְיָמִן: (יג) וְאִלֵּין יְקוּמוּן עַל לְוָטַיָּא בְּטוּרָא דְעֵיבָל רְאוּבֵן גָּד וְאָשֵׁר וּזְבוּלֻן דָּן וְנַפְתָּלִי: (יד) וִיתִיבוּן לֵוָאֵי וְיֵימְרוּן לְכָל אֱנַשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל קָלָא רָמָא:
11. Moshe commanded the people on that day, saying: 12. These shall stand to bless the people on Mount Grizim in your crossing the Jordan: Shimon, Levi, Yehuda, Yisachar, Yoseif and Binyamin. 13. And these shall stand for the curse on Mount Eival: Reuven, Gad, Asher, Zevulun, Dan and Naftali. 14. The Levites shall answer and say to every man (of) Israel (in) a loud voice:
(טו) אָר֣וּר הָאִ֡ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַעֲשֶׂה֩ פֶ֨סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֜ה תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֗ה מַעֲשֵׂ֛ה יְדֵ֥י חָרָ֖שׁ וְשָׂ֣ם בַּסָּ֑תֶר וְעָנ֧וּ כׇל־הָעָ֛ם וְאָמְר֖וּ אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(טו) לִיט גַּבְרָא דִּי יַעְבֵּד צֶלֶם וּמַתְּכָא מְרָחָקָא קֳדָם יְיָ עֹבַד יְדֵי ֱאֳמָןֳ וּמְשַׁוִּי בְסִתְרָא וִיתִיבוּן כָּל עַמָּא וְיֵימְרוּן אָמֵן:
15. Cursed be the man who will make an image[1] or molten image – disgusting to Hashem,[2] the work of a craftsman’s hands – and places it in secret. All the people shall answer, and they shall say amen.
(טז) אָר֕וּר מַקְלֶ֥ה אָבִ֖יו וְאִמּ֑וֹ וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(טז) לִיט דְּיִקְלֵי אֲבוּהִי וְאִמֵּיהּ וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
16. Cursed be one who dishonors his father or his mother. And all the people shall say amen.
(יז) אָר֕וּר מַסִּ֖יג גְּב֣וּל רֵעֵ֑הוּ וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(יז) לִיט דְּיִשְׁנֵי תְּחוּמָא דְחַבְרֵיהּ וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
17. Cursed be one who moves his neighbor’s boundary. And all the people shall say amen.
(יח) אָר֕וּר מַשְׁגֶּ֥ה עִוֵּ֖ר בַּדָּ֑רֶךְ וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(יח) לִיט דְּיַטְעֵי עַוִּירָא בְּאָרְחָא וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
18. Cursed be one who misleads a blind person on the way. And all the people shall say amen.
(יט) אָר֗וּר מַטֶּ֛ה מִשְׁפַּ֥ט גֵּר־יָת֖וֹם וְאַלְמָנָ֑ה וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ (כ) אָר֗וּר שֹׁכֵב֙ עִם־אֵ֣שֶׁת אָבִ֔יו כִּ֥י גִלָּ֖ה כְּנַ֣ף אָבִ֑יו וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(יט) לִיט דְּיַצְלֵי דִּין דַּיַּר יִתַּמָּא וְאַרְמְלָא וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן: (כ) לִיט דְּיִשְׁכּוּב עִם אִתַּת אֲבוּהִי אֲרֵי גַלִּי כַּנְפָא דַאֲבוּהִי וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
19. Cursed be one who perverts the judgment of a traveler,[3] an orphan and a widow. And all the people shall say amen. 20. Cursed be one who lies with his father’s wife, because he has revealed the corner of his father(’s garment). And all the people shall say amen.
(כא) אָר֕וּר שֹׁכֵ֖ב עִם־כׇּל־בְּהֵמָ֑ה וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(כא) לִיט דְּיִשְׁכּוּב עִם כָּל בְּעִירָא וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
21. Cursed be one who lies with any animal. And all the people shall say amen.
(כב) אָר֗וּר שֹׁכֵב֙ עִם־אֲחֹת֔וֹ בַּת־אָבִ֖יו א֣וֹ בַת־אִמּ֑וֹ וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(כב) לִיט דְּיִשְׁכּוּב עִם אֲחָתֵיהּ בַּת אֲבוּהִי אוֹ בַת אִמֵּיהּ וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
22. Cursed be one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say amen.
(כג) אָר֕וּר שֹׁכֵ֖ב עִם־חֹֽתַנְתּ֑וֹ וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(כג) לִיט דְּיִשְׁכּוּב עִם חֲמוֹתֵיהּ וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
23. Cursed be one who lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say amen.
(כד) אָר֕וּר מַכֵּ֥ה רֵעֵ֖הוּ בַּסָּ֑תֶר וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(כד) לִיט דְּיִמְחֵי לְחַבְרֵיהּ בְּסִתְרָא וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
24. Cursed be one who strikes his fellow in secret. And all the people shall say amen.
(כה) אָרוּר֙ לֹקֵ֣חַ שֹׁ֔חַד לְהַכּ֥וֹת נֶ֖פֶשׁ דָּ֣ם נָקִ֑י וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {ס}
(כה) לִיט דִּי מְקַבֵּל שֹׁחֲדָא לְמִקְטַל נְפַשׁ דַּם זַכַּי וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
25. Cursed be one who takes a bribe to kill[4] a soul (of) innocent blood. And all the people shall say amen.
(כו) אָר֗וּר אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹא־יָקִ֛ים אֶת־דִּבְרֵ֥י הַתּוֹרָֽה־הַזֹּ֖את לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת אוֹתָ֑ם וְאָמַ֥ר כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ {פ}
(כו) לִיט דִּי לָא יְקַיַּם יָת פִּתְגָּמֵי אוֹרַיְתָא הָדָא לְמֶעְבַּד יָתְהוֹן וְיֵימַר כָּל עַמָּא אָמֵן:
26. Cursed be the one who will not uphold the words of this Torah to perform them. And all the people shall say amen.
Chapter 28
(א) וְהָיָ֗ה אִם־שָׁמ֤וֹעַ תִּשְׁמַע֙ בְּקוֹל֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לִשְׁמֹ֤ר לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם וּנְתָ֨נְךָ֜ יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ עֶלְי֔וֹן עַ֖ל כׇּל־גּוֹיֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (ב) וּבָ֧אוּ עָלֶ֛יךָ כׇּל־הַבְּרָכ֥וֹת הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְהִשִּׂיגֻ֑ךָ כִּ֣י תִשְׁמַ֔ע בְּק֖וֹל יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ (ג) בָּר֥וּךְ אַתָּ֖ה בָּעִ֑יר וּבָר֥וּךְ אַתָּ֖ה בַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃ (ד) בָּר֧וּךְ פְּרִֽי־בִטְנְךָ֛ וּפְרִ֥י אַדְמָתְךָ֖ וּפְרִ֣י בְהֶמְתֶּ֑ךָ שְׁגַ֥ר אֲלָפֶ֖יךָ וְעַשְׁתְּר֥וֹת צֹאנֶֽךָ׃ (ה) בָּר֥וּךְ טַנְאֲךָ֖ וּמִשְׁאַרְתֶּֽךָ׃ (ו) בָּר֥וּךְ אַתָּ֖ה בְּבֹאֶ֑ךָ וּבָר֥וּךְ אַתָּ֖ה בְּצֵאתֶֽךָ׃
(א) וִיהֵי אִם קַבָּלָא תְקַבֵּל לְמֵימְרָא דַּיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לְמִטַּר לְמֶעְבַּד יָת כָּל פִּקּוּדוֹהִי דִּי אֲנָא מְפַקְּדָךְ יוֹמָא דֵין וְיִתְּנִנָּךְ יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ עִלַּי עַל כָּל עַמְמֵי אַרְעָא: (ב) וְיֵיתוּן עֲלָךְ כָּל בִּרְכְּתָא הָאִלֵּין וְיִדְבְּקֻנָּךְ אֲרֵי תְקַבַּל לְמֵימְרָא דַּיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ: (ג) בְּרִיךְ אַתְּ בְּקַרְתָּא וּבְרִיךְ אַתְּ בְּחַקְלָא: (ד) בְּרִיךְ וַלְדָּא דִמְעָךְ וְאִבָּא דְאַרְעָךְ וּוַלְדָּא דִבְעִירָךְ בַּקְרֵי תוֹרָיךְ וְעֶדְרֵי עָנָךְ: (ה) בְּרִיךְ סַלָּךְ וְאַצְוָתָךְ: (ו) בְּרִיךְ אַתְּ בְּמֵעֲלָךְ וּבְרִיךְ אַתְּ בְּמִפְּקָךְ:
1. It shall be, if you surely accept the word of Hashem your God, to observe to perform all His commandments that I command you today, Hashem your God will place you high over all the nations of the earth. 2. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you accept the word of Hashem your God: 3. You (will be) blessed in the city and you (will be) blessed in the field. 4. Blessed will be the fetus[5] of your womb, and the fruit of your land, and the fetus of your cattle – the herds of your cattle[6] and the flocks of your sheep. 5. Your basket and your kneading bowl (will be) blessed. 6. You (will be) blessed in your coming and you (will be) blessed in your going.
