Parshas Ki Seitzei - Shishi
(ה) כִּֽי־יִקַּ֥ח אִישׁ֙ אִשָּׁ֣ה חֲדָשָׁ֔ה לֹ֤א יֵצֵא֙ בַּצָּבָ֔א וְלֹא־יַעֲבֹ֥ר עָלָ֖יו לְכׇל־דָּבָ֑ר נָקִ֞י יִהְיֶ֤ה לְבֵיתוֹ֙ שָׁנָ֣ה אֶחָ֔ת וְשִׂמַּ֖ח אֶת־אִשְׁתּ֥וֹ אֲשֶׁר־לָקָֽח׃ (ו) לֹא־יַחֲבֹ֥ל רֵחַ֖יִם וָרָ֑כֶב כִּי־נֶ֖פֶשׁ ה֥וּא חֹבֵֽל׃ {ס}
(ה) אֲרֵי יִסַּב גְּבַר אִתְּתָא חַדְתָּא לָא יִפּוֹק בְּחֵילָא וְלָא יֵעִבַר עֲלוֹהִי לְכָל מִדָּעַם פָּנֵי יְהֵי לְבֵיתֵיהּ שַׁתָּא חֲדָא וְיַחְדֵּי יָת אִתְּתֵיהּ דִּי נְסַב: (ו) לָא יִסַּב מַשְׁכּוֹנָא רִחְיָא וְרִכְבָּא אֲרֵי בְהוֹן מִתְעֲבֵד מָזוֹן לְכָל נְפַשׁ:
5. When a man will take a new wife, he shall not go out with the army and it[1] will not pass over him for any matter; he shall be free[2] to his household (for) one year, and he shall gladden his wife whom he took. 6. Do not take a lower millstone or[3] an upper millstone as collateral, because food for every soul is made with them.[4]
(ז) כִּי־יִמָּצֵ֣א אִ֗ישׁ גֹּנֵ֨ב נֶ֤פֶשׁ מֵאֶחָיו֙ מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהִתְעַמֶּר־בּ֖וֹ וּמְכָר֑וֹ וּמֵת֙ הַגַּנָּ֣ב הַה֔וּא וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃ {ס}
(ז) אֲרֵי יִשְׁתְּכַח גְּבַר גָּנֵב נַפְשָׁא מֵאֲחוֹהִי מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְיִתָּגַר בֵּיהּ וִיזַבְּנִנֵּיהּ וְיִתְקְטֵל גַּנָּבָא הַהוּא וּתְפַלֵּי עָבֵד דְּבִישׁ מִבֵּינָךְ:
7. If a man is found stealing[5] a soul from his brethren, from the children of Israel, and he treats him as merchandise[6] and sells him, that thief shall be executed, and you will remove the malefactor from among you.
(ח) הִשָּׁ֧מֶר בְּנֶֽגַע־הַצָּרַ֛עַת לִשְׁמֹ֥ר מְאֹ֖ד וְלַעֲשׂ֑וֹת כְּכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁר־יוֹר֨וּ אֶתְכֶ֜ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים הַלְוִיִּ֛ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוִּיתִ֖ם תִּשְׁמְר֥וּ לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ (ט) זָכ֕וֹר אֵ֧ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֛ה יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ לְמִרְיָ֑ם בַּדֶּ֖רֶךְ בְּצֵאתְכֶ֥ם מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ {ס}
(ח) אִסְתַּמַּר בְּמַכְתַּשׁ סְגִירוּ לְמִטַּר לַחֲדָא וּלְמֶעְבָּד כְּכֹל דִּי יַלְּפוּן יָתְכוֹן כָּהֲנַיָּא לֵוָאֵי כְּמָא דִי פַקֶּדְתִּנּוּן תִּטְּרוּן לְמֶעְבָּד: (ט) הֲוֵי דְכִיר יָת דִּי עֲבַד יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ לְמִרְיָם בְּאָרְחָא בְּמִפָּקְכוֹן מִמִּצְרָיִם:
8. Be careful regarding the affliction of tzaraas, to observe thoroughly and to act according to all that the priests, the Levites, will instruct you; as I have commanded them, you shall observe to do. 9. Remember that which Hashem your God did to Miriam on the road in your exodus from Egypt.
(י) כִּֽי־תַשֶּׁ֥ה בְרֵֽעֲךָ֖ מַשַּׁ֣את מְא֑וּמָה לֹא־תָבֹ֥א אֶל־בֵּית֖וֹ לַעֲבֹ֥ט עֲבֹטֽוֹ׃ (יא) בַּח֖וּץ תַּעֲמֹ֑ד וְהָאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אַתָּה֙ נֹשֶׁ֣ה ב֔וֹ יוֹצִ֥יא אֵלֶ֛יךָ אֶֽת־הַעֲב֖וֹט הַחֽוּצָה׃ (יב) וְאִם־אִ֥ישׁ עָנִ֖י ה֑וּא לֹ֥א תִשְׁכַּ֖ב בַּעֲבֹטֽוֹ׃ (יג) הָשֵׁב֩ תָּשִׁ֨יב ל֤וֹ אֶֽת־הַעֲבוֹט֙ כְּב֣וֹא הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ וְשָׁכַ֥ב בְּשַׂלְמָת֖וֹ וּבֵֽרְכֶ֑ךָּ וּלְךָ֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה צְדָקָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ {ס}
(י) אֲרֵי תַרְשֵׁי בְחַבְרָךְ רְשׁוּ מִדָּעַם לָא תֵעוּל לְבֵיתֵיהּ לְמִסַּב מַשְׁכּוֹנֵיהּ: (יא) בְּבָרָא תְּקוּם וְגַבְרָא דִּי אַתְּ רָשֵׁי בֵיהּ יַפֵּק לְוָתָךְ יָת מַשְׁכּוֹנָא לְבָרָא: (יב) וְאִם גְּבַר מִסְכֵּן הוּא לָא תִשְׁכּוּב בְּמַשְׁכּוֹנֵיהּ: (יג) אָתָבָא תָתֵב לֵיהּ יָת מַשְׁכּוֹנָא כְּמֵעַל שִׁמְשָׁא וְיִשְׁכּוּב בִּכְסוּתֵיהּ וִיבָרֵכִנָּךְ וְלָךְ תְּהֵי זְכוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ:
10. When you lend your fellow a loan of anything, do not come in to his house to seize his collateral.[7] 11. You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you lent will bring the collateral out to you. 12. And if he’s a needy man, do not sleep with his collateral; 13. you shall surely return the collateral when the sun comes (down). He will sleep in his garment and he will bless you, and it will be a merit[8] to you before Hashem your God.
