Parshas Ki Seitzei - Sheini
(כב) וְכִֽי־יִהְיֶ֣ה בְאִ֗ישׁ חֵ֛טְא מִשְׁפַּט־מָ֖וֶת וְהוּמָ֑ת וְתָלִ֥יתָ אֹת֖וֹ עַל־עֵֽץ׃ (כג) לֹא־תָלִ֨ין נִבְלָת֜וֹ עַל־הָעֵ֗ץ כִּֽי־קָב֤וֹר תִּקְבְּרֶ֙נּוּ֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא כִּֽי־קִלְלַ֥ת אֱלֹהִ֖ים תָּל֑וּי וְלֹ֤א תְטַמֵּא֙ אֶת־אַדְמָ֣תְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֖ נַחֲלָֽה׃ {ס}
(כב) וַאֲרֵי יְהֵי בִגְבַר חוֹבַת דִּין דִּקְטוֹל וְיִתְקְטֵל וְתִצְלוֹב יָתֵיהּ עַל צְלִיבָא: (כג) לָא תְבִית נְבִלְתֵּיהּ עַל צְלִיבָא אֲרֵי מִקְבַּר תִּקְבְּרִנֵּיהּ בְּיוֹמָא הַהוּא אֲרֵי עַל דְּחָב קֳדָם יְיָ אִצְטְלַב וְלָא תְסָאֵב יָת אַרְעָךְ דִּי יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ יָהֵב לָךְ אַחֲסָנָא:
22. And if there will be in a man guilt for a judgment of death and he dies, you shall hang him on a pole.[1] 23. Do not let his corpse remain on the pole overnight; you shall surely bury it on that day because since he sinned before Hashem, he was hanged,[2] and you shall not defile your land that Hashem your God gives you (as) an inheritance.
Chapter 22
(א) לֹֽא־תִרְאֶה֩ אֶת־שׁ֨וֹר אָחִ֜יךָ א֤וֹ אֶת־שֵׂיוֹ֙ נִדָּחִ֔ים וְהִתְעַלַּמְתָּ֖ מֵהֶ֑ם הָשֵׁ֥ב תְּשִׁיבֵ֖ם לְאָחִֽיךָ׃ (ב) וְאִם־לֹ֨א קָר֥וֹב אָחִ֛יךָ אֵלֶ֖יךָ וְלֹ֣א יְדַעְתּ֑וֹ וַאֲסַפְתּוֹ֙ אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ בֵּיתֶ֔ךָ וְהָיָ֣ה עִמְּךָ֗ עַ֣ד דְּרֹ֤שׁ אָחִ֙יךָ֙ אֹת֔וֹ וַהֲשֵׁבֹת֖וֹ לֽוֹ׃ (ג) וְכֵ֧ן תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה לַחֲמֹר֗וֹ וְכֵ֣ן תַּעֲשֶׂה֮ לְשִׂמְלָתוֹ֒ וְכֵ֣ן תַּעֲשֶׂ֗ה לְכׇל־אֲבֵדַ֥ת אָחִ֛יךָ אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאבַ֥ד מִמֶּ֖נּוּ וּמְצָאתָ֑הּ לֹ֥א תוּכַ֖ל לְהִתְעַלֵּֽם׃ {ס}
(א) לָא תֶחֱזֵי יָת תּוֹרָא דְאָחוּךְ אוֹ יָת אִמְּרֵיהּ דְּטָעָן וְתִתְכְּבֵשׁ מִנְּהוֹן אָתָבָא תָתֵבִנּוּן לְאָחוּךְ: (ב) וְאִם לָא קָרֵב אֲחוּךְ לְוָתָךְ וְלָא יְדַעַתְּ לֵיהּ וְתַכְנְשִׁנֵּיהּ לְגוֹ בֵיתָךְ וִיהֵי עִמָּךְ עַד דְּיִתְבַּע אֲחוּךְ יָתֵיהּ וְתָתֵיבִנֵּיהּ לֵיהּ: (ג) וְכֵן תַּעְבֵּד לַחֲמָרֵיהּ וְכֵן תַּעְבֵּד לִכְסוּתֵיהּ וְכֵן תַּעְבֵּד לְכָל אֲבֵדַת אֲחוּךְ דִּי תֵיבַד מִנֵּיהּ וְתַשְׁכְּחִנַּהּ לֵית לָךְ רְשׁוּ לְאִתְכַּסָּאָה:
1. You shall not see your brother’s ox or his sheep that are lost and hide yourself from them; you shall surely return them to your brother. 2. And if your brother isn’t near to you and you don’t know him, you shall gather into your house and it will be with you until your brother seeks it, and you shall return it to him. 3. So shall you do to his donkey, and so shall you do to his garment, and so shall you do to any lost object of your brother that will be lost from him and you will find it. You do not have permission to hide it.[3]
(ד) לֹא־תִרְאֶה֩ אֶת־חֲמ֨וֹר אָחִ֜יךָ א֤וֹ שׁוֹרוֹ֙ נֹפְלִ֣ים בַּדֶּ֔רֶךְ וְהִתְעַלַּמְתָּ֖ מֵהֶ֑ם הָקֵ֥ם תָּקִ֖ים עִמּֽוֹ׃ {ס}
(ד) לָא תֶחֱזֵי יָת חֲמָרָא דְאָחוּךְ אוֹ תוֹרֵיהּ רָמָן בְּאָרְחָא וְתִתְכְּבֵשׁ מִנְּהוֹן אֲקָמָא תְקִים עִמֵּיהּ:
4. Do not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen on the road and hide yourself from them; you shall surely pick it up with him.
(ה) לֹא־יִהְיֶ֤ה כְלִי־גֶ֙בֶר֙ עַל־אִשָּׁ֔ה וְלֹא־יִלְבַּ֥שׁ גֶּ֖בֶר שִׂמְלַ֣ת אִשָּׁ֑ה כִּ֧י תוֹעֲבַ֛ת יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ כׇּל־עֹ֥שֵׂה אֵֽלֶּה׃ {פ}
(ה) לָא יְהֵי תִקּוּן זֵין דִּגְבַר עַל אִתְּתָא וְלָא יְתַקֵּן גְּבַר בְּתִקּוּנֵי אִתְּתָא אֲרֵי מְרָחָק קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ כָּל עָבֵד אִלֵּין:
5. A man’s decorative weaponry shall not be on a woman, and a man shall not wear a woman’s ornaments, because all who do these (things) is disgusting before Hashem your God.
(ו) כִּ֣י יִקָּרֵ֣א קַן־צִפּ֣וֹר ׀ לְפָנֶ֡יךָ בַּדֶּ֜רֶךְ בְּכׇל־עֵ֣ץ ׀ א֣וֹ עַל־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֶפְרֹחִים֙ א֣וֹ בֵיצִ֔ים וְהָאֵ֤ם רֹבֶ֙צֶת֙ עַל־הָֽאֶפְרֹחִ֔ים א֖וֹ עַל־הַבֵּיצִ֑ים לֹא־תִקַּ֥ח הָאֵ֖ם עַל־הַבָּנִֽים׃ (ז) שַׁלֵּ֤חַ תְּשַׁלַּח֙ אֶת־הָאֵ֔ם וְאֶת־הַבָּנִ֖ים תִּֽקַּֽח־לָ֑ךְ לְמַ֙עַן֙ יִ֣יטַב לָ֔ךְ וְהַאֲרַכְתָּ֖ יָמִֽים׃ {ס}
(ו) אֲרֵי יְעָרַע קִנָּא דְצִפְּרָא קֳדָמָךְ בְּאָרְחָא בְּכָל אִילָן אוֹ עַל אַרְעָא אֶפְרֹחִין אוֹ בֵיעִין וְאִמָא רְבֵעָא עַל אֶפְרֹחִין אוֹ עַל בֵּיעִין לָא תִסַּב אִמָּא עַל בְּנַיָּא: (ז) שַׁלָּחָא תְשַׁלַּח יָת אִמָּא וְיָת בְּנַיָּא תִּסַּב לָךְ בְּדִיל דְּיֵיטַב לָךְ וְתוֹרִיךְ יוֹמִין:
6. If you encounter a bird’s nest before you on the road, in any tree or on the ground, (with) chicks or eggs and the mother hovering over the chicks or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young. 7. You shall surely send the mother away and take the young to yourself, in order that it will be good for you and you will lengthen (your) days.
