(ו) וְכִֽי־יָבֹ֨א הַלֵּוִ֜י מֵאַחַ֤ד שְׁעָרֶ֙יךָ֙ מִכׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁר־ה֖וּא גָּ֣ר שָׁ֑ם וּבָא֙ בְּכׇל־אַוַּ֣ת נַפְשׁ֔וֹ אֶל־הַמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה׃ (ז) וְשֵׁרֵ֕ת בְּשֵׁ֖ם יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑יו כְּכׇל־אֶחָיו֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם הָעֹמְדִ֥ים שָׁ֖ם לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ (ח) חֵ֥לֶק כְּחֵ֖לֶק יֹאכֵ֑לוּ לְבַ֥ד מִמְכָּרָ֖יו עַל־הָאָבֽוֹת׃ {ס}
(ו) וַאֲרֵי יֵיתֵי לֵוָאָה מֵחֲדָא מִקִּרְוָיךְ מִכָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל דִּי הוּא דָּר תַּמָּן וְיֵיתֵי בְּכָל רְעוּת נַפְשֵׁיהּ לְאַתְרָא דִּי יִתִּרְעֵי יְיָ: (ז) וִישַׁמַּשׁ בִּשְׁמָא דַּיְיָ אֱלָהֵיהּ כְּכָל אֲחוֹהִי לֵוָאֵי דִּמְשַׁמְּשִׁין תַּמָּן (בִּצְלוֹ) קֳדָם יְיָ: (ח) חֳלָק כָּחֳלָק יֵיכְלוּן בַּר מִמַּטַּרְתָּא דְּיֵיתֵי בְשַׁבַּתָּא דְּכֵן אַתְקִינוּ אֲבָהָתָא:
6. If a Levite[1] will come from one of your cities from all Israel that he resides there, and he comes in wherever his soul desires to the place that Hashem will favor, 7. he may minister in the name of Hashem his God like all his brethren the Levites who minister[2] there[3] before Hashem. 8. Portion like portion[4] they shall eat, except for the duty rotation of that week, because such was established by the fathers.
(ט) כִּ֤י אַתָּה֙ בָּ֣א אֶל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֑ךְ לֹֽא־תִלְמַ֣ד לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת כְּתוֹעֲבֹ֖ת הַגּוֹיִ֥ם הָהֵֽם׃ (י) לֹֽא־יִמָּצֵ֣א בְךָ֔ מַעֲבִ֥יר בְּנֽוֹ־וּבִתּ֖וֹ בָּאֵ֑שׁ קֹסֵ֣ם קְסָמִ֔ים מְעוֹנֵ֥ן וּמְנַחֵ֖שׁ וּמְכַשֵּֽׁף׃ (יא) וְחֹבֵ֖ר חָ֑בֶר וְשֹׁאֵ֥ל אוֹב֙ וְיִדְּעֹנִ֔י וְדֹרֵ֖שׁ אֶל־הַמֵּתִֽים׃ (יב) כִּֽי־תוֹעֲבַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה כׇּל־עֹ֣שֵׂה אֵ֑לֶּה וּבִגְלַל֙ הַתּוֹעֵבֹ֣ת הָאֵ֔לֶּה יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ מוֹרִ֥ישׁ אוֹתָ֖ם מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃ (יג) תָּמִ֣ים תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה עִ֖ם יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
(ט) אֲרֵי אַתְּ עָלֵל לְאַרְעָא דַּיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ יָהֵב לָךְ לָא תֵילַף לְמֶעְבַּד כְּטַעֲוַת עַמְמַיָּא הָאִנּוּן: (י) לָא יִשְׁתְּכַח בָּךְ מַעֲבַר בְּרֵיהּ וּבְרַתֵּיהּ בְּנוּרָא קָסֵם קֻסְמִין מְעָנֵן וּמְנַחֵשׁ וְחָרָשׁ: (יא) וְרָטִין רְטָן וְשָׁאֵל בִּדִּין וּזְכוּרוּ וְתָבַע מִן מֵתַיָּא: (יב) אֲרֵי מְרָחָק יְיָ כָּל דְּיַעְבֵּד אִלֵּין וּבְדִיל תּוֹעֲבָתָא הָאִלֵּין יְיָ אֱלָהָךְ מְתָרַךְ יָתְהוֹן מִקֳּדָמָךְ: (יג) שְׁלִים תְּהֵי בְּדַחַלְתָּא דַּיְיָ אֱלָהָךְ:
9. When you come in to the land that Hashem your God gives you, you shall not learn to do like the abominations of these nations. 10. There shall not be found among you one who passes his son or[5] his daughter through fire, a diviner, a soothsayer, and a medium and a sorcerer, 11. and one who casts spells, and one who consults ghosts and spirits, and one who inquires of the dead. 12. Because everyone who does this is disgusting before Hashem, and because of these abominations Hashem your God is driving them out from before you. 13. You shall be whole(hearted) in reverence for Hashem your God,
