(כב) כִּי֩ אִם־שָׁמֹ֨ר תִּשְׁמְר֜וּן אֶת־כׇּל־הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֗את אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י מְצַוֶּ֥ה אֶתְכֶ֖ם לַעֲשֹׂתָ֑הּ לְאַהֲבָ֞ה אֶת־יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֛ם לָלֶ֥כֶת בְּכׇל־דְּרָכָ֖יו וּלְדׇבְקָה־בֽוֹ׃ (כג) וְהוֹרִ֧ישׁ יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶת־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֥ם הָאֵ֖לֶּה מִלִּפְנֵיכֶ֑ם וִֽירִשְׁתֶּ֣ם גּוֹיִ֔ם גְּדֹלִ֥ים וַעֲצֻמִ֖ים מִכֶּֽם׃ (כד) כׇּל־הַמָּק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּדְרֹ֧ךְ כַּֽף־רַגְלְכֶ֛ם בּ֖וֹ לָכֶ֣ם יִהְיֶ֑ה מִן־הַמִּדְבָּ֨ר וְהַלְּבָנ֜וֹן מִן־הַנָּהָ֣ר נְהַר־פְּרָ֗ת וְעַד֙ הַיָּ֣ם הָאַֽחֲר֔וֹן יִהְיֶ֖ה גְּבֻלְכֶֽם׃ (כה) לֹא־יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב אִ֖ישׁ בִּפְנֵיכֶ֑ם פַּחְדְּכֶ֨ם וּמוֹרַֽאֲכֶ֜ם יִתֵּ֣ן ׀ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם עַל־פְּנֵ֤י כׇל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּדְרְכוּ־בָ֔הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר לָכֶֽם׃ {ס}
(כב) אֲרֵי אִם מִטַּר תִּטְּרוּן יָת כָּל תַּפְקֶדְתָּא הָדָא דִּי אֲנָא מְפַקֵּד יָתְכוֹן לְמֶעְבְּדַהּ לְמִרְחַם יָת יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן לִמְהַךְ בְּכָל אָרְחָן דְּתַקְנָן קֳדָמוֹהִי וּלְאִתְקְרָבָא לְדַחַלְתֵּיהּ: (כג) וִיתָרַךְ יְיָ יָת כָּל עַמְמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין מִקֳּדָמֵיכוֹן וְתֵירְתוּן עַמְמִין רַבְרְבִין וְתַקִּיפִין מִנְּכוֹן: (כד) כָּל אַתְרָא דִּי תִדְרוֹךְ פַּרְסַת רַגְלְכוֹן בֵּיהּ דִּלְכוֹן יְהֵי מִן מַדְבְּרָא וְלִבְנָן מִן נַהֲרָא נְהַר פְּרָת וְעַד יַמָּא מַעַרְבָא יְהֵי תְחוּמְכוֹן: (כה) לָא יִתְעַתַּד אֱנָשׁ קֳדָמֵיכוֹן דַּחֲלָתְכוֹן וְאֵימָתְכוֹן יִתֵּן יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן עַל אַפֵּי כָל אַרְעָא דִּי תִדְרְכוּן בַּהּ כְּמָא דִּי מַלִּיל לְכוֹן:
22. Because if you surely observe all this commandment that I command you to perform, to love Hashem your God, to walk in all ways that are correct before Him and to draw near to reverence for Him, 23. Hashem will drive out all these nations from before you; you will drive out nations greater and more numerous than you. 24. Every place that the sole of your foot treads will be yours; your border will be from the wilderness and the Lebanon, from the river – the Euphrates River – and until the western sea.[1] 25. No man will stand before you; Hashem your God will put dread of you and fear of you on the face of all the land in which you tread, as He spoke to you.
[1] i.e., the Mediterranean. The Hebrew “yam ha’acharon” doesn’t mean “the final sea,” it means “the sea behind you,” i.e., to the west.
