(יט) אֶֽת־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֡לֶּה דִּבֶּר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֶל־כׇּל־קְהַלְכֶ֜ם בָּהָ֗ר מִתּ֤וֹךְ הָאֵשׁ֙ הֶֽעָנָ֣ן וְהָֽעֲרָפֶ֔ל ק֥וֹל גָּד֖וֹל וְלֹ֣א יָסָ֑ף וַֽיִּכְתְּבֵ֗ם עַל־שְׁנֵי֙ לֻחֹ֣ת אֲבָנִ֔ים וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם אֵלָֽי׃ (כ) וַיְהִ֗י כְּשׇׁמְעֲכֶ֤ם אֶת־הַקּוֹל֙ מִתּ֣וֹךְ הַחֹ֔שֶׁךְ וְהָהָ֖ר בֹּעֵ֣ר בָּאֵ֑שׁ וַתִּקְרְב֣וּן אֵלַ֔י כׇּל־רָאשֵׁ֥י שִׁבְטֵיכֶ֖ם וְזִקְנֵיכֶֽם׃ (כא) וַתֹּאמְר֗וּ הֵ֣ן הֶרְאָ֜נוּ יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ אֶת־כְּבֹד֣וֹ וְאֶת־גׇּדְל֔וֹ וְאֶת־קֹל֥וֹ שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ מִתּ֣וֹךְ הָאֵ֑שׁ הַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ רָאִ֔ינוּ כִּֽי־יְדַבֵּ֧ר אֱלֹהִ֛ים אֶת־הָֽאָדָ֖ם וָחָֽי׃ (כב) וְעַתָּה֙ לָ֣מָּה נָמ֔וּת כִּ֣י תֹֽאכְלֵ֔נוּ הָאֵ֥שׁ הַגְּדֹלָ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את אִם־יֹסְפִ֣ים ׀ אֲנַ֗חְנוּ לִ֠שְׁמֹ֠עַ אֶת־ק֨וֹל יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ ע֖וֹד וָמָֽתְנוּ׃ (כג) כִּ֣י מִ֣י כׇל־בָּשָׂ֡ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁמַ֣ע קוֹל֩ אֱלֹהִ֨ים חַיִּ֜ים מְדַבֵּ֧ר מִתּוֹךְ־הָאֵ֛שׁ כָּמֹ֖נוּ וַיֶּֽחִי׃ (כד) קְרַ֤ב אַתָּה֙ וּֽשְׁמָ֔ע אֵ֛ת כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֹאמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ וְאַ֣תְּ ׀ תְּדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֵ֗ינוּ אֵת֩ כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְדַבֵּ֜ר יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ אֵלֶ֖יךָ וְשָׁמַ֥עְנוּ וְעָשִֽׂינוּ׃ (כה) וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־ק֣וֹל דִּבְרֵיכֶ֔ם בְּדַבֶּרְכֶ֖ם אֵלָ֑י וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י שָׁ֠מַ֠עְתִּי אֶת־ק֨וֹל דִּבְרֵ֜י הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבְּר֣וּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ הֵיטִ֖יבוּ כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֵּֽרוּ׃ (כו) מִֽי־יִתֵּ֡ן וְהָיָה֩ לְבָבָ֨ם זֶ֜ה לָהֶ֗ם לְיִרְאָ֥ה אֹתִ֛י וְלִשְׁמֹ֥ר אֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתַ֖י כׇּל־הַיָּמִ֑ים לְמַ֨עַן יִיטַ֥ב לָהֶ֛ם וְלִבְנֵיהֶ֖ם לְעֹלָֽם׃ (כז) לֵ֖ךְ אֱמֹ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם שׁ֥וּבוּ לָכֶ֖ם לְאׇהֳלֵיכֶֽם׃ (כח) וְאַתָּ֗ה פֹּה֮ עֲמֹ֣ד עִמָּדִי֒ וַאֲדַבְּרָ֣ה אֵלֶ֗יךָ אֵ֧ת כׇּל־הַמִּצְוָ֛ה וְהַחֻקִּ֥ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר תְּלַמְּדֵ֑ם וְעָשׂ֣וּ בָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י נֹתֵ֥ן לָהֶ֖ם לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ (כט) וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣ם לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֛ה יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם אֶתְכֶ֑ם לֹ֥א תָסֻ֖רוּ יָמִ֥ין וּשְׂמֹֽאל׃ (ל) בְּכׇל־הַדֶּ֗רֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֜ה יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֛ם אֶתְכֶ֖ם תֵּלֵ֑כוּ לְמַ֤עַן תִּֽחְיוּן֙ וְט֣וֹב לָכֶ֔ם וְהַאֲרַכְתֶּ֣ם יָמִ֔ים בָּאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּֽירָשֽׁוּן׃
(יט) יָת פִּתְגָּמַיָּא הָאִלֵּין מַלִּיל יְיָ עִם כָּל קְהָלְכוֹן בְּטוּרָא מִגּוֹ אֶשָּׁתָא עֲנָנָא וַאֲמִיטְתָא קָל רַב וְלָא פְסַק וּכְתָבִנּוּן עַל תְּרֵין לוּחֵי אַבְנַיָּא וִיהָבִנּוּן לִי: (כ) וַהֲוָה כַּד שְׁמַעֲכוֹן יָת קָלָא מִגּוֹ חֲשׁוֹכָא וְטוּרָא בָּעֵר בְּאֶשָּׁתָא וְקָרֶבְתּוּן לְוָתִי כָּל רֵישֵׁי שִׁבְטֵיכוֹן וְסָבֵיכוֹן: (כא) וַאֲמַרְתּוּן הָא אַחְזְיָנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָנָא יָת יְקָרֵיהּ וְיָת רְבוּתֵיהּ וְיָת קָל מֵימְרֵיהּ שְׁמַעְנָא מִגּוֹ אֶשָּׁתָא יוֹמָא הָדֵין חֲזֵינָא אֲרֵי יְמַלֵּל יְיָ עִם אֲנָשָׁא וְיִתְקַיָּם: (כב) וּכְעַן לְמָא נְמוּת אֲרֵי תֵיכְלִנָּנָא אֶשָּׁתָא רַבְּתָא הָדָא אִם מוֹסְפִין אֲנַחְנָא לְמִשְׁמַע יָת קָל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָנָא עוֹד וּמָיְתִין אֲנַחְנָא: (כג) אֲרֵי מָן כָּל בִּשְׂרָא דִי שְׁמַע קָל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ קַיָּמָא מְמַלֵּל מִגּוֹ אֶשָּׁתָא כְּוָתָנָא וְאִתְקַיָּם: (כד) קְרַב אַתְּ וּשְׁמַע יָת כָּל דִּי יֵימַר יְיָ אֱלָהָנָא וְאַתְּ תְּמַלֵּל עִמָּנָא יָת כָּל דִּי מַלֵּל יְיָ אֱלָהָנָא עִמָּךְ וּנְקַבֵּל וְנַעְבֵּד: (כה) וּשְׁמִיעַ קֳדָם יְיָ יָת קָל פִּתְגָּמֵיכוֹן בְּמַלָּלוּתְכוֹן עִמִּי וַאֲמַר יְיָ לִי שְׁמִיעַ קֳדָמַי יָת קָל פִּתְגָּמֵי עַמָּא הָדֵין דִּי מַלִּילוּ עִמָּךְ אַתְקִינוּ כָּל דִּי מַלִּילוּ: (כו) לְוַי דִּי יְהֵי לִבָּא הָדֵין לְהוֹן לְמִדְחַל קֳדָמַי וּלְמִטַּר יָת כָּל פִּקּוּדַי כָּל יוֹמַיָּא בְּדִיל דְּיֵיטַב לְהוֹן וְלִבְנֵיהוֹן לְעָלָם: (כז) אִזֵּל אֱמַר לְהוֹן תּוּבוּ לְכוֹן לְמַשְׁכְּנֵיכוֹן: (כח) וְאַתְּ הָכָא קִים קֳדָמַי וֶאֱמַלֵּל עִמָּךְ יָת כָּל תַּפְקֶדְתָּא וּקְיָמַיָּא וְדִינַיָּא דִי תַלְּפוּן וְיַעְבְּדוּן בְּאַרְעָא דִּי אֲנָא יָהֵב לְהוֹן לְמֵירְתַהּ: (כט) וְתִטְּרוּן לְמֶעְבַּד כְּמָא דִי פַקִּיד יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן יָתְכוֹן לָא תִסְטוּן יַמִּינָא וּשְׂמָאלָא: (ל) בְּכָל אָרְחָא דִּי פַקִּיד יְיָ אֱלָהֲכוֹן יָתְכוֹן תְּהָכוּן בְּדִיל דְּתֵיחוּן וְיֵיטַב לְכוֹן וְתוֹרְכוּן יוֹמִין בְּאַרְעָא דִּי תֵירְתוּן:
19. Hashem spoke these words with your entire congregation on the mountain, from among the fire, the darkness and the fog[1] – a great voice, and He didn’t stop.[2] He wrote them on two stone tablets and He gave them to me. 20. It happened, when you heard the voice from among the darkness, and the mountain was burning with fire, you drew near to me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders, 21. and you said, ‘Behold, Hashem our God has shown us His glory and His Greatness, and the sound of His word we have heard from among the fire. This very day we saw that God will speak to a person and he will live. 22. And now, why should we die, because this great fire will consume us! If we continue to hear the sound of the word of Hashem our God further, we shall die. 23. Because who of all flesh – who heard the sound of the word of Hashem the living[3] speaking from among the fire like us – lived? 24. You draw near and hear all that Hashem our God will say, and you speak with us all that Hashem our God will speak with you, and we will accept (it)[4] and we will do (it).’ 25. The sound of your words in your speaking with me was heard before Hashem. Hashem said to me, ‘The sound of this people’s words that they spoke with you is heard before Me; they were correct[5] (in) all that they spoke. 26. Would that[6] this heart would (always) be to them, to revere before Me and to observe all My commandments all the days in order that it will be good for them and for their children forever! 27. Go, say to them, ‘Return yourselves to your tents,’ 28. and you stand here before Me, and I will speak with you all the commandment, and the statutes and the laws that you shall teach them, and they shall perform in the land that I give them to inherit it.’ 29. Guard (yourselves) to do as Hashem your God commanded you; do not turn aside right or left. 30. You shall go in all the way that Hashem your God has commanded you, in order that you will live and that it will be good for you, and you will lengthen (your) days in the land you will inherit.
