(מא) אָ֣ז יַבְדִּ֤יל מֹשֶׁה֙ שָׁלֹ֣שׁ עָרִ֔ים בְּעֵ֖בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן מִזְרְחָ֖ה שָֽׁמֶשׁ׃ (מב) לָנֻ֨ס שָׁ֜מָּה רוֹצֵ֗חַ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִרְצַ֤ח אֶת־רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ בִּבְלִי־דַ֔עַת וְה֛וּא לֹא־שֹׂנֵ֥א ל֖וֹ מִתְּמֹ֣ל שִׁלְשֹׁ֑ם וְנָ֗ס אֶל־אַחַ֛ת מִן־הֶעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖ל וָחָֽי׃ (מג) אֶת־בֶּ֧צֶר בַּמִּדְבָּ֛ר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ הַמִּישֹׁ֖ר לָרֽאוּבֵנִ֑י וְאֶת־רָאמֹ֤ת בַּגִּלְעָד֙ לַגָּדִ֔י וְאֶת־גּוֹלָ֥ן בַּבָּשָׁ֖ן לַֽמְנַשִּֽׁי׃ (מד) וְזֹ֖את הַתּוֹרָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר־שָׂ֣ם מֹשֶׁ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (מה) אֵ֚לֶּה הָֽעֵדֹ֔ת וְהַֽחֻקִּ֖ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּצֵאתָ֖ם מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ (מו) בְּעֵ֨בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֜ן בַּגַּ֗יְא מ֚וּל בֵּ֣ית פְּע֔וֹר בְּאֶ֗רֶץ סִיחֹן֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הָֽאֱמֹרִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר יוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּחֶשְׁבּ֑וֹן אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִכָּ֤ה מֹשֶׁה֙ וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּצֵאתָ֖ם מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ (מז) וַיִּֽירְשׁ֨וּ אֶת־אַרְצ֜וֹ וְאֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ ׀ ע֣וֹג מֶֽלֶךְ־הַבָּשָׁ֗ן שְׁנֵי֙ מַלְכֵ֣י הָֽאֱמֹרִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּעֵ֣בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן מִזְרַ֖ח שָֽׁמֶשׁ׃ (מח) מֵעֲרֹעֵ֞ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־שְׂפַת־נַ֧חַל אַרְנֹ֛ן וְעַד־הַ֥ר שִׂיאֹ֖ן ה֥וּא חֶרְמֽוֹן׃ (מט) וְכׇל־הָ֨עֲרָבָ֜ה עֵ֤בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה וְעַ֖ד יָ֣ם הָעֲרָבָ֑ה תַּ֖חַת אַשְׁדֹּ֥ת הַפִּסְגָּֽה׃ {פ}
(מא) בְּכֵן יַפְרֵשׁ משֶׁה תְּלַת קִרְוִין בְּעִבְרָא דְּיַרְדְּנָא מִדְנַח שִׁמְשָׁא: (מב) לְמֵעִירוֹק תַּמָּן קָטוֹלָא דִּי יִקְטוֹל יָת חַבְרֵיהּ בְּלָא מַנְדְּעֵי וְהוּא לָא סָנֵי לֵיהּ מֵאִתְמַלֵּי וּמִדְּקַמּוֹהִי וְיֵעִרוֹק לְחַד מִן קִרְוַיָּא הָאִלֵּין וְיִתְקַיָּם: (מג) יָת בֶּצֶר בְּמַדְבְּרָא בְּאַרְעָא מֵישְׁרָא לְשִׁבְטָא דִרְאוּבֵן וְיָת רָאמוֹת בַּגִּלְעָד לְשִׁבְטָא דְגָד וְיָת גּוֹלָן בְּמַתְנָן לְשִׁבְטָא דִמְנַשֶּׁה: (מד) וְדָא אוֹרַיְתָא דִּי סַדַּר משֶׁה קֳדָם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: (מה) אִלֵּין סָהֶדְוָתָא וּקְיָמַיָּא וְדִינַיָּא דִּי מַלִּיל משֶׁה עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמִפָּקְהוֹן מִמִּצְרָיִם: (מו) בְּעִבְרָא דְיַרְדְּנָא בְּחֵילָתָא לָקֳבֵל בֵּית פְּעוֹר בְּאַרְעָא דְּסִיחֹן מַלְכָּא דֶאֱמֹרָאָה דִּי יָתֵב בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן דִּי מְחָא משֶׁה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמִפָּקְהוֹן מִמִּצְרָיִם: (מז) וִירִיתוּ יָת אַרְעֵיהּ וְיָת אַרְעָא דְּעוֹג מַלְכָּא דְמַתְנָן תְּרֵין מַלְכֵי אֱמֹרָאָה דִּי בְּעִבְרָא דְיַרְדְּנָא מִדְנַח שִׁמְשָׁא: (מח) מֵעֲרֹעֵר דִּי עַל כֵּיף נַחֲלָא דְאַרְנֹן וְעַד טוּרָא דְשִׂיאֹן הוּא חֶרְמוֹן: (מט) וְכָל מֵישְׁרָא עִבְרָא דְיַרְדְּנָא לְמָדִינְחָא וְעַד יַמָּא דְמֵישְׁרָא תְּחוֹת מַשְׁפַּךְ מְרָמָתָא:
41. Then Moshe separated three cities on the other side of the Jordan, to the east,[1] 42. to flee there a manslaughterer who killed his neighbor without intention, and he didn’t hate him yesterday or beforehand.[2] He will flee to one of these cities and live: 43. Betzer in the wilderness, in the land of the plain, of the tribe of Reuven; Ramos in Gilad, of the tribe of Gad; and Golan in Masnan,[3] of the tribe of Menashe.[4] 44. And this is the Torah that Moshe arranged before the children of Israel; 45. these are the testimonies, and the statutes and the laws that Moshe spoke with the children of Israel in their exodus from Egypt, 46. on the other side of the Jordan, in the valley opposite Beis Peor, in the land of Sichon, king of the Amorite(s), who dwelled in Cheshbon, whom Moshe and the children of Israel struck in their exodus from Egypt. 47. They inherited his land and the land of Og, king of Masnan – the two kings of the Amorite(s) who were on the other side of the Jordan to the east:[5] 48. from Aroeir that is on the side of the Arnon valley and until Mount Sion, which is Chermon, 49. and all the plain on the other side of the Jordan to the east and until the sea of the plain, under the waterfall of the peak.
