Chapter 33
(א) אֵ֜לֶּה מַסְעֵ֣י בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָצְא֛וּ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹֽן׃ (ב) וַיִּכְתֹּ֨ב מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־מוֹצָאֵיהֶ֛ם לְמַסְעֵיהֶ֖ם עַל־פִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְאֵ֥לֶּה מַסְעֵיהֶ֖ם לְמוֹצָאֵיהֶֽם׃ (ג) וַיִּסְע֤וּ מֵֽרַעְמְסֵס֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר י֖וֹם לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן מִֽמׇּחֳרַ֣ת הַפֶּ֗סַח יָצְא֤וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּיָ֣ד רָמָ֔ה לְעֵינֵ֖י כׇּל־מִצְרָֽיִם׃ (ד) וּמִצְרַ֣יִם מְקַבְּרִ֗ים אֵת֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִכָּ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה בָּהֶ֖ם כׇּל־בְּכ֑וֹר וּבֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם עָשָׂ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה שְׁפָטִֽים׃ (ה) וַיִּסְע֥וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵרַעְמְסֵ֑ס וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּסֻכֹּֽת׃ (ו) וַיִּסְע֖וּ מִסֻּכֹּ֑ת וַיַּחֲנ֣וּ בְאֵתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר בִּקְצֵ֥ה הַמִּדְבָּֽר׃ (ז) וַיִּסְעוּ֙ מֵֽאֵתָ֔ם וַיָּ֙שׇׁב֙ עַל־פִּ֣י הַחִירֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־פְּנֵ֖י בַּ֣עַל צְפ֑וֹן וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ לִפְנֵ֥י מִגְדֹּֽל׃ (ח) וַיִּסְעוּ֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הַֽחִירֹ֔ת וַיַּֽעַבְר֥וּ בְתוֹךְ־הַיָּ֖ם הַמִּדְבָּ֑רָה וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ דֶּ֣רֶךְ שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת יָמִים֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר אֵתָ֔ם וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּמָרָֽה׃ (ט) וַיִּסְעוּ֙ מִמָּרָ֔ה וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ אֵילִ֑מָה וּ֠בְאֵילִ֠ם שְׁתֵּ֣ים עֶשְׂרֵ֞ה עֵינֹ֥ת מַ֛יִם וְשִׁבְעִ֥ים תְּמָרִ֖ים וַיַּחֲנוּ־שָֽׁם׃ (י) וַיִּסְע֖וּ מֵאֵילִ֑ם וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ עַל־יַם־סֽוּף׃
(א) אִלֵּין מַטְּלָנֵי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל דִּי נְפָקוּ מֵאַרְעָא דְמִצְרַיִם לְחֵילֵיהוֹן בִּידָא דְמשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן: (ב) וּכְתַב משֶׁה יָת מַפְּקָנֵיהוֹן לְמַטְּלָנֵיהוֹן עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ וְאִלֵּין מַטְּלָנֵיהוֹן לְמַפְּקָנֵיהוֹן: (ג) וּנְטָלוּ מְרַעְמְסֵס בְּיַרְחָא קַדְמָאָה בְּחַמְשָׁא עַשְׂרָא יוֹמָא לְיַרְחָא קַדְמָאָה מִבָּתַר יוֹמָא דְפִּסְחָא נְפָקוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּרֵישׁ גְּלֵי לְעֵינֵי כָּל מִצְרָאֵי: (ד) וּמִצְרָאֵי מְקַבְּרִין יָת דִּי קְטַל יְיָ בְּהוֹן כָּל בּוּכְרָא וּבְטַעֲוַתְהוֹן עֲבַד יְיָ דִּינִין: (ה) וּנְטָלוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵרַעְמְסֵס וּשְׁרוֹ בְּסֻכֹּת: (ו) וּנְטָלוּ מִסֻּכֹּת וּשְׁרוֹ בְאֵתָם דִּי בִּסְטַר מַדְבְּרָא: (ז) וּנְטָלוּ מֵאֵתָם וְתָב עַל פּוּם חִירָתָא דִּי קֳדָם בְּעֵל צְפוֹן וּשְׁרוֹ קֳדָם מִגְדֹּל: (ח) וּנְטָלוּ מִן פּוּם חִירָתָא וַעֲבָרוּ בְּגוֹ יַמָּא לְמַדְבְּרָא וַאֲזָלוּ מַהֲלַךְ תְּלָתָא יוֹמִין בְּמַדְבְּרָא דְאֵתָם וּשְׁרוֹ בְּמָרָה: (ט) וּנְטָלוּ מִמָּרָה וַאֲתוֹ לְאֵילִם וּבְאֵילִם תְּרֵי עֲשַׂר מַבּוּעִין דְּמַיִּן וְשַׁבְעִין דִּקְלִין וּשְׁרוֹ תַמָּן: (י) וּנְטָלוּ מֵאֵילִם וּשְׁרוֹ עַל יַמָּא דְסוּף:
1. These are the journeys of the children of Israel who went out from the land of Egypt according to their legions through the hand of Moshe and Aharon. 2. Moshe wrote the origins of their journeys by Hashem’s word,[1] and these are their journeys by their origins: 3. They traveled from Ramses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, from the day after the Passover (offering) the children of Israel went out with an uncovered head[2] in the eyes of all the Egyptians. 4. The Egyptians were burying those among them whom Hashem had killed,[3] every first-born, and Hashem executed judgment on their “errors.”[4] 5. The children of Israel traveled from Ramses and they camped in Succos. 6. They traveled from Succos and they camped in Eisam, which is on the side[5] of the wilderness. 7. They traveled from Eisam and turned towards Pum Chirasa,[6] which faces B’eil Tz’fon.[7] They camped before Migdol. 8. They traveled from Pum Chirasa[8] and passed within the sea towards the wilderness. They went a three-day journey in the Eisam wilderness and they camped in Marah. 9. They traveled from Marah and came to Eilim, and in Eilim there were 12 springs of water and 70 palm trees. They camped there. 10. They traveled from Eilim and camped by the Sea of Reeds.
