(כא) וְלִבְנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י הִנֵּ֥ה נָתַ֛תִּי כׇּל־מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְנַחֲלָ֑ה חֵ֤לֶף עֲבֹֽדָתָם֙ אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֣ם עֹֽבְדִ֔ים אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (כב) וְלֹא־יִקְרְב֥וּ ע֛וֹד בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לָשֵׂ֥את חֵ֖טְא לָמֽוּת׃ (כג) וְעָבַ֨ד הַלֵּוִ֜י ה֗וּא אֶת־עֲבֹדַת֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְהֵ֖ם יִשְׂא֣וּ עֲוֺנָ֑ם חֻקַּ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וּבְתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א יִנְחֲל֖וּ נַחֲלָֽה׃ (כד) כִּ֞י אֶת־מַעְשַׂ֣ר בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרִ֤ימוּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ תְּרוּמָ֔ה נָתַ֥תִּי לַלְוִיִּ֖ם לְנַחֲלָ֑ה עַל־כֵּן֙ אָמַ֣רְתִּי לָהֶ֔ם בְּתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א יִנְחֲל֖וּ נַחֲלָֽה׃ {פ}
(כא) וְלִבְנֵי לֵוִי הָא יְהָבִית כָּל מַעַשְׂרָא בְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְאַחֲסָנָא חֲלַף פּוּלְחַנְהוֹן דִּי אִנּוּן פָּלְחִין יָת פּוּלְחַן מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (כב) וְלָא יִקְרְבוּן עוֹד בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא לְקַבָּלָא חוֹבָא לִמְמָת: (כג) וְיִפְלְחוּן לֵוָאֵי אִנּוּן יָת פּוּלְחַן מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא וְאִנּוּן יְקַבְּלוּן חוֹבֵיהוֹן קְיַם עֳלָם לְדָרֵיכוֹן וּבְגוֹ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָא יַחְסְנוּן אַחֲסָנָא: (כד) אֲרֵי יָת מַעַשְׂרָא דִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל דִּי יַפְרְשׁוּן קֳדָם יְיָ אַפְרָשׁוּתָא יְהָבִית לְלֵוָאֵי לְאַחֲסָנָא עַל כֵּן אֲמָרִית לְהוֹן בְּגוֹ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָא יַחְסְנוּן אַחֲסָנָא:
21. And to the sons of Levi, behold I give every tithe in Israel as an inheritance in exchange for their services that they perform, the service of the Tent of Meeting. 22. And the children of Israel shall not draw near any more to the Tent of Meeting to incur guilt,[1] to die. 23. The Levites – they[2] shall perform the service of the Tent of Meeting, and they will incur their guilt. It is an eternal statute for your generations, and among the children of Israel they will not inherit an inheritance. 24. Because the tithe of the children of Israel that they will separate as a gift to Hashem I give to the Levites as an inheritance. Therefore, I have said to them (that) among the children of Israel they will not inherit an inheritance.
(כה) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (כו) וְאֶל־הַלְוִיִּ֣ם תְּדַבֵּר֮ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶם֒ כִּֽי־תִ֠קְח֠וּ מֵאֵ֨ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶת־הַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֧תִּי לָכֶ֛ם מֵאִתָּ֖ם בְּנַחֲלַתְכֶ֑ם וַהֲרֵמֹתֶ֤ם מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֔ה מַעֲשֵׂ֖ר מִן־הַֽמַּעֲשֵֽׂר׃ (כז) וְנֶחְשַׁ֥ב לָכֶ֖ם תְּרוּמַתְכֶ֑ם כַּדָּגָן֙ מִן־הַגֹּ֔רֶן וְכַֽמְלֵאָ֖ה מִן־הַיָּֽקֶב׃ (כח) כֵּ֣ן תָּרִ֤ימוּ גַם־אַתֶּם֙ תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֔ה מִכֹּל֙ מַעְשְׂרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּקְח֔וּ מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּנְתַתֶּ֤ם מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ אֶת־תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֔ה לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (כט) מִכֹּל֙ מַתְּנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם תָּרִ֕ימוּ אֵ֖ת כׇּל־תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה מִכׇּ֨ל־חֶלְבּ֔וֹ אֶֽת־מִקְדְּשׁ֖וֹ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ (ל) וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם בַּהֲרִֽימְכֶ֤ם אֶת־חֶלְבּוֹ֙ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ וְנֶחְשַׁב֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם כִּתְבוּאַ֥ת גֹּ֖רֶן וְכִתְבוּאַ֥ת יָֽקֶב׃ (לא) וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם אֹתוֹ֙ בְּכׇל־מָק֔וֹם אַתֶּ֖ם וּבֵֽיתְכֶ֑ם כִּֽי־שָׂכָ֥ר הוּא֙ לָכֶ֔ם חֵ֥לֶף עֲבֹֽדַתְכֶ֖ם בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (לב) וְלֹֽא־תִשְׂא֤וּ עָלָיו֙ חֵ֔טְא בַּהֲרִֽימְכֶ֥ם אֶת־חֶלְבּ֖וֹ מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְאֶת־קׇדְשֵׁ֧י בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לֹ֥א תְחַלְּל֖וּ וְלֹ֥א תָמֽוּתוּ׃ {פ}
(כה) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (כו) וּלְלֵוָאֵי תְמַלֵּל וְתֵימַר לְהוֹן אֲרֵי תִסְּבוּן מִן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יָת מַעַשְׂרָא דִּי יְהָבִית לְכוֹן מִנְּהוֹן בְּאַחֲסַנְתְּכוֹן וְתַפְרְשׁוּן מִנֵּיהּ אַפְרָשׁוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ מַעַשְׂרָא מִן מַעַשְׂרָא: (כז) וְתִתְחַשַּׁב לְכוֹן אַפְרָשׁוּתְכוֹן כְּעִבּוּרָא מִן אִדְרָא וְכַמְּלֵאָתָא מִן מַעְצַרְתָּא: (כח) כֵּן תַּפְרְשׁוּן אַף אַתּוּן אַפְרָשׁוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ מִכֹּל מַעַשְׂרָתֵיכוֹן דִּי תִסְּבוּן מִן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתִתְּנוּן מִנֵּיהּ יָת אַפְרָשׁוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ לְאַהֲרֹן כַּהֲנָא: (כט) מִכֹּל מַתְּנַתְכוֹן תַּפְרְשׁוּן יָת כָּל אַפְרָשׁוּתָא דַיְיָ מִכָּל שׁוּפְרֵיהּ יָת מַקְדְּשֵׁיהּ מִנֵּיהּ: (ל) וְתֵימַר לְהוֹן בְּאַפְרָשׁוּתְכוֹן יָת שׁוּפְרֵיהּ מִנֵּיהּ וְיִתְחַשַּׁב לְלֵוָאֵי כַּעֲלָלַת אִדְרָא וְכַעֲלָלַת מַעְצַרְתָּא: (לא) וְתֵיכְלוּן יָתֵיהּ בְּכָל אֲתַר אַתּוּן וֶאֱנַשׁ בָּתֵּיכוֹן אֲרֵי אַגְרָא הוּא לְכוֹן חֲלַף פָּלְחַנְכוֹן בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (לב) וְלָא תְקַבְּלוּן עֲלוֹהִי חוֹבָא בְּאַפְרָשׁוּתְכוֹן יָת שׁוּפְרֵיהּ מִנֵּיהּ וְיָת קוּדְשַׁיָּא דִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָא תַחֲלוּן וְלָא תְמוּתוּן:
25. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 26. And to the Levites speak, and say to them: When you take from the children of Israel the tithe that I gave to you from them as your inheritance, separate from it Hashem’s gift, tithe from the tithe. 27. That which you separate will be considered for you like grain from the threshing floor and like the fullness of the press.[3] 28. so also you shall separate a gift before Hashem[4] from all the tithes that you take from the children of Israel. You shall give a gift before Hashem from it to Aharon the priest. 29. From all your gifts you shall separate every gift of Hashem from everything that is best, the sacred part of it. 30. And say to them: Through your separating its best part from it, is shall be considered for the Levites like the produce of a threshing floor and like the produce of a press. 31. You may eat it in every place – you and the people of your households – because it is wages for you in exchange for your work in the Tent of Meeting. 32. You will not incur guilt because of it through your separating its best part from it, and the sacred (things) of the children of Israel you shall not desecrate so[5] you won’t die.
