(טו) וּבְיוֹם֙ הָקִ֣ים אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן כִּסָּ֤ה הֶֽעָנָן֙ אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן לְאֹ֖הֶל הָעֵדֻ֑ת וּבָעֶ֜רֶב יִהְיֶ֧ה עַֽל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן כְּמַרְאֵה־אֵ֖שׁ עַד־בֹּֽקֶר׃ (טז) כֵּ֚ן יִהְיֶ֣ה תָמִ֔יד הֶעָנָ֖ן יְכַסֶּ֑נּוּ וּמַרְאֵה־אֵ֖שׁ לָֽיְלָה׃ (יז) וּלְפִ֞י הֵעָל֤וֹת הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעַ֣ל הָאֹ֔הֶל וְאַ֣חֲרֵי כֵ֔ן יִסְע֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּבִמְק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁכׇּן־שָׁם֙ הֶֽעָנָ֔ן שָׁ֥ם יַחֲנ֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (יח) עַל־פִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה יִסְעוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְעַל־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה יַחֲנ֑וּ כׇּל־יְמֵ֗י אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכֹּ֧ן הֶעָנָ֛ן עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יַחֲנֽוּ׃ (יט) וּבְהַאֲרִ֧יךְ הֶֽעָנָ֛ן עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וְשָׁמְר֧וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶת־מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת יְהֹוָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א יִסָּֽעוּ׃ (כ) וְיֵ֞שׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִהְיֶ֧ה הֶֽעָנָ֛ן יָמִ֥ים מִסְפָּ֖ר עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַל־פִּ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ יַחֲנ֔וּ וְעַל־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה יִסָּֽעוּ׃ (כא) וְיֵ֞שׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִהְיֶ֤ה הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעֶ֣רֶב עַד־בֹּ֔קֶר וְנַעֲלָ֧ה הֶֽעָנָ֛ן בַּבֹּ֖קֶר וְנָסָ֑עוּ א֚וֹ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַ֔יְלָה וְנַעֲלָ֥ה הֶעָנָ֖ן וְנָסָֽעוּ׃ (כב) אֽוֹ־יֹמַ֜יִם אוֹ־חֹ֣דֶשׁ אוֹ־יָמִ֗ים בְּהַאֲרִ֨יךְ הֶעָנָ֤ן עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ לִשְׁכֹּ֣ן עָלָ֔יו יַחֲנ֥וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְלֹ֣א יִסָּ֑עוּ וּבְהֵעָלֹת֖וֹ יִסָּֽעוּ׃ (כג) עַל־פִּ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ יַחֲנ֔וּ וְעַל־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה יִסָּ֑עוּ אֶת־מִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת יְהֹוָה֙ שָׁמָ֔רוּ עַל־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ {פ}
(טו) וּבְיוֹמָא דְּאִתָּקַם יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא חֲפָא עֲנָנָא יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא לְמַשְׁכְּנָא דְסַהֲדוּתָא וּבְרַמְשָׁא הֲוָה עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא כְּחֵזוּ אֶשָּׁתָא עַד צַפְרָא: (טז) כֵּן הֲוָה תְדִירָא עֲנָנָא חָפֵי לֵיהּ וְחֵזוּ אֶשָּׁתָא בְּלֵילְיָא: (יז) וּלְפוּם אִסְתַּלָּקוּת עֲנָנָא מֵעִלָּוֵי מַשְׁכְּנָא וּבָתַר כֵּן נָטְלִין בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבְאַתְרָא דְּשָׁרֵי תַמָּן עֲנָנָא תַּמָּן שָׁרָן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: (יח) עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ נָטְלִין בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ שָׁרָן כָּל יוֹמֵי דִּי שָׁרֵי עֲנָנָא עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא שָׁרָן: (יט) וּבְאוֹרָכוּת עֲנָנָא עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא יוֹמִין סַגִּיאִין וְיִטְּרוּן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יָת מַטְּרַת מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ וְלָא נָטְלִין: (כ) וְאִית דִּי הֲוָה עֲנָנָא יוֹמֵי דְמִנְיַן עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ שָׁרָן וְעַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ נָטְלִין: (כא) וְאִית דִּי הֲוָה עֲנָנָא מֵרַמְשָׁא עַד צַפְרָא וּמִסְתַּלַּק עֲנָנָא בְּצַפְרָא וְנָטְלִין אוֹ יֵמָם וְלֵילֵי וּמִסְתַּלַּק עֲנָנָא וְנָטְלִין: (כב) אוֹ תְרֵין יוֹמִין אוֹ יַרְחָא אוֹ עִדָּן בְּעִדָּן בְּאוֹרָכוּת עֲנָנָא עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא לְמִשְׁרֵי עֲלוֹהִי שָׁרָן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלָא נָטְלִין וּבְאִסְתַּלָּקוּתֵיהּ נָטְלִין: (כג) עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ שָׁרָן וְעַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ נָטְלִין יָת מַטְּרַת מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ נָטְרִין עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ בִּידָא דְמשֶׁה:
15. And on the day that the Tabernacle was erected, the cloud covered the Tabernacle, the tent of the testimony, and in the evening it was on the Tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning. 16. So it was continuously: the cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night. 17. According to the departure[1] of the cloud from above[2] the Tent, afterwards the children of Israel would travel, and in the place where the cloud rested there, there the children of Israel would camp. 18. By Hashem’s word[3] the children of Israel traveled, and by Hashem’s word they camped. All the days that the cloud rested on the Tabernacle, they camped. 19. When the cloud lingered on the Tabernacle (for) many days, the children of Israel observed the charge Hashem’s word and didn’t travel. 20. There were (times) when the cloud would be a few days on the Tabernacle, by Hashem’s word they camped and by Hashem’s word they traveled. 21. And there were (times) when the cloud stayed from evening until morning and the cloud departed in the morning, they traveled. Or a day and a night, when the cloud departed, they would travel. 22. Whether two days, or a month, or a year,[4] when the cloud lingered on the Tabernacle to rest on it, the children of Israel camped and didn’t travel, and when it departed, they traveled. 23. By Hashem’s word they camped and by Hashem’s word they traveled. They observed the charge of Hashem’s word through Hashem’s word by the hand of Moshe.
Chapter 10
(א) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (ב) עֲשֵׂ֣ה לְךָ֗ שְׁתֵּי֙ חֲצֽוֹצְרֹ֣ת כֶּ֔סֶף מִקְשָׁ֖ה תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑ם וְהָי֤וּ לְךָ֙ לְמִקְרָ֣א הָֽעֵדָ֔ה וּלְמַסַּ֖ע אֶת־הַֽמַּחֲנֽוֹת׃ (ג) וְתָקְע֖וּ בָּהֵ֑ן וְנֽוֹעֲד֤וּ אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ כׇּל־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (ד) וְאִם־בְּאַחַ֖ת יִתְקָ֑עוּ וְנוֹעֲד֤וּ אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ הַנְּשִׂיאִ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֖י אַלְפֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (ה) וּתְקַעְתֶּ֖ם תְּרוּעָ֑ה וְנָֽסְעוּ֙ הַֽמַּחֲנ֔וֹת הַחֹנִ֖ים קֵֽדְמָה׃ (ו) וּתְקַעְתֶּ֤ם תְּרוּעָה֙ שֵׁנִ֔ית וְנָֽסְעוּ֙ הַֽמַּחֲנ֔וֹת הַחֹנִ֖ים תֵּימָ֑נָה תְּרוּעָ֥ה יִתְקְע֖וּ לְמַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃ (ז) וּבְהַקְהִ֖יל אֶת־הַקָּהָ֑ל תִּתְקְע֖וּ וְלֹ֥א תָרִֽיעוּ׃ (ח) וּבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים יִתְקְע֖וּ בַּחֲצֹֽצְר֑וֹת וְהָי֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם לְחֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ (ט) וְכִֽי־תָבֹ֨אוּ מִלְחָמָ֜ה בְּאַרְצְכֶ֗ם עַל־הַצַּר֙ הַצֹּרֵ֣ר אֶתְכֶ֔ם וַהֲרֵעֹתֶ֖ם בַּחֲצֹצְרֹ֑ת וְנִזְכַּרְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם וְנוֹשַׁעְתֶּ֖ם מֵאֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃ (י) וּבְי֨וֹם שִׂמְחַתְכֶ֥ם וּֽבְמוֹעֲדֵיכֶם֮ וּבְרָאשֵׁ֣י חׇדְשֵׁכֶם֒ וּתְקַעְתֶּ֣ם בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֹ֗ת עַ֚ל עֹלֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְעַ֖ל זִבְחֵ֣י שַׁלְמֵיכֶ֑ם וְהָי֨וּ לָכֶ֤ם לְזִכָּרוֹן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ {פ}
(א) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (ב) עִבֵיד לָךְ תַּרְתֵּין חֲצוֹצְרַן דִּכְסַף נְגִיד תַּעְבֵּד יָתְהוֹן וִיהֶוְיָן לָךְ לְעַרְעָא כְנִשְׁתָּא וּלְאַטָּלָא יָת מַשְׁרִיתָא: (ג) וְיִתְקְעוּן בְּהֵן וְיִזְדַּמְּנוּן לְוָתָךְ כָּל כְּנִשְׁתָּא לִתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (ד) וְאִם בַּחֲדָא יִתְקְעוּן וְיִזְדַּמְּנוּן לְוָתָךְ רַבְרְבַיָּא רֵישֵׁי אַלְפַיָּא דְיִשְׂרָאֵל: (ה) וְתִתְקְעוּן יַבֶּבְתָּא וְיִטְּלוּן מַשִּׁרְיָתָא דִּשְׁרַן קִדּוּמָא: (ו) וְתִתְקְעוּן יַבֶּבְתָּא תִּנְיָנוּת וְיִטְּלוּן מַשִּׁרְיָתָא דִּשְׁרַן דָּרוֹמָא יַבָּבָא יִתְקְעוּן לְמַטְּלָנֵיהוֹן: (ז) וּבְמִכְנַשׁ יָת קְהָלָא תִּתְקְעוּן וְלָא תְיַבְּבוּן: (ח) וּבְנֵי אַהֲרֹן כָּהֲנַיָּא יִתְקְעוּן בַּחֲצוֹצְרָתָא וִיהֶוְיָן לְכוֹן לִקְיַם עֲלָם לְדָרֵיכוֹן: (ט) וַאֲרֵי תֵעֲלוּן לְאַגָּחָא קְרָבָא בְּאַרְעֲכוֹן עַל מְעִיקֵי דִּמְעִיקִין לְכוֹן וּתְיַבְּבוּן בַּחֲצוֹצְרָתָא וְיֵיעוּל דּוּכְרָנֵיכוֹן לְטָבָא קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן וְתִתְפָּרְקוּן מִסַּנְאֵיכוֹן: (י) וּבְיוֹם חֶדְוַתְכוֹן וּבְמוֹעֲדֵיכוֹן וּבְרֵישֵׁי יַרְחֵיכוֹן וְתִתְקְעוּן בַּחֲצוֹצְרָתָא עַל עֲלָוָתְכוֹן וְעַל נִכְסַת קוּדְשֵׁיכוֹן וִיהֶוְיָן לְכוֹן לְדוּכְרָנָא קֳדָם אֱלָהָכוֹן אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן:
1. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 2. Make for yourself two silver trumpets; make them of drawn work. They shall be to you to call the congregation and to cause the camps to travel. 3. Sound (a blast) on them and the entire congregation will assemble to you at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, 4. and if (only) one is sounded, the leaders, heads of the thousands of Israel, will assemble to you. 5. And sound them (in) short blasts, and the camps encamped on the east will travel; 6. sound them (in) short blasts a second time and the camps encamped on the south will travel. Short blasts shall be blown for their travels, 7. and to gather the community you shall blow (long blasts), and not short. 8. Aharon’s sons the priests shall blow on the trumpets; they shall be to you an eternal statute for your generations. 9. And when you go to make war in your land against enemies who oppress[5] you, you shall sound short blasts on the trumpets and your remembrance for good will come[6] before Hashem your God and you will be saved from those who hate you.[7] 10. And on the day of your joy and on your holidays and new moons you shall sound on the trumpets over[8] your burnt offerings and on your holiness sacrifices.[9] They shall be for you a remembrance before your God. I am Hashem your God.
