2,886. Canceling a Wife's Nezirus
Hilchos Nezirus 4:16
If someone treats vows scornfully and a court gives credence to him, telling him that he doesn’t have to keep his vow under Torah law, or ruling leniently or finding a loophole to absolve the vow, that court of laymen is placed under a ban of excommunication.
Hilchos Nezirus 4:17
Let’s say that a woman made a nazirite vow, she completed the period of her nezirus, and she brought her offerings. One of the animals was slaughtered and its blood was sprinkled on the altar. If her husband learns of her vow at this point, he can no longer annul it. This is so even if she has not yet shaved her hair. He may, however, annul her vow before the blood is sprinkled on the altar. This is the case regarding shaving in purity; when it comes to shaving because of being rendered unclean, the husband may annul the vow. This is true even if she has already brought the offerings for being rendered unclean because she still has to observe another period of nezirus.
