(כא) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (כב) נָשֹׂ֗א אֶת־רֹ֛אשׁ בְּנֵ֥י גֵרְשׁ֖וֹן גַּם־הֵ֑ם לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ (כג) מִבֶּן֩ שְׁלֹשִׁ֨ים שָׁנָ֜ה וָמַ֗עְלָה עַ֛ד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה תִּפְקֹ֣ד אוֹתָ֑ם כׇּל־הַבָּא֙ לִצְבֹ֣א צָבָ֔א לַעֲבֹ֥ד עֲבֹדָ֖ה בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (כד) זֹ֣את עֲבֹדַ֔ת מִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֑י לַעֲבֹ֖ד וּלְמַשָּֽׂא׃ (כה) וְנָ֨שְׂא֜וּ אֶת־יְרִיעֹ֤ת הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ וְאֶת־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד מִכְסֵ֕הוּ וּמִכְסֵ֛ה הַתַּ֥חַשׁ אֲשֶׁר־עָלָ֖יו מִלְמָ֑עְלָה וְאֶ֨ת־מָסַ֔ךְ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (כו) וְאֵת֩ קַלְעֵ֨י הֶֽחָצֵ֜ר וְאֶת־מָסַ֣ךְ ׀ פֶּ֣תַח ׀ שַׁ֣עַר הֶחָצֵ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֤ן וְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ סָבִ֔יב וְאֵת֙ מֵֽיתְרֵיהֶ֔ם וְאֶֽת־כׇּל־כְּלֵ֖י עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וְאֵ֨ת כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֧ר יֵעָשֶׂ֛ה לָהֶ֖ם וְעָבָֽדוּ׃ (כז) עַל־פִּי֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן וּבָנָ֜יו תִּהְיֶ֗ה כׇּל־עֲבֹדַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֔י לְכׇ֨ל־מַשָּׂאָ֔ם וּלְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וּפְקַדְתֶּ֤ם עֲלֵהֶם֙ בְּמִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת אֵ֖ת כׇּל־מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ (כח) זֹ֣את עֲבֹדַ֗ת מִשְׁפְּחֹ֛ת בְּנֵ֥י הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֖י בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וּמִ֨שְׁמַרְתָּ֔ם בְּיַד֙ אִֽיתָמָ֔ר בֶּֽן־אַהֲרֹ֖ן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ {ס}
(כא) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (כב) קַבֵּל יָת חֻשְׁבַּן בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן אַף אִנּוּן לְבֵית אֲבָהַתְהוֹן לְזַרְעֲיַתְהוֹן: (כג) מִבַּר תְּלָתִין שְׁנִין וּלְעֵלָּא עַד בַּר חַמְשִׁין שְׁנִין תִּמְנֵי יָתְהוֹן כָּל דְּאָתֵי לְחַיָּלָא חֵילָא לְמִפְלַח פָּלְחָנָא בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (כד) דֵּין פָּלְחַן זַרְעֲיַת גֵּרְשׁוֹן לְמִפְלַח וּלְמַטּוֹל: (כה) וְיִטְּלוּן יָת יְרִיעַת מַשְׁכְּנָא וְיָת מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא חוֹפָאֵיהּ וְחוֹפָאָה דְסַסְגּוֹנָא דִּי עֲלוֹהִי מִלְּעֵלָּא וְיָת פְּרָסָא דִּתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (כו) וְיָת סְרָדֵי דַרְתָּא וְיָת פְּרָסָא דְמַעֲלָנָא דִּתְרַע דַּרְתָּא דִּי עַל מַשְׁכְּנָא וְעַל מַדְבְּחָא סְחוֹר סְחוֹר וְיָת אַטּוּנֵיהוֹן וְיָת כָּל מָנֵי פָּלְחַנְהוֹן וְיָת כָּל דִּי יִתְמְסַר לְהוֹן וְיִפְלְחוּן: (כז) עַל מֵימַר אַהֲרֹן וּבְנוֹהִי יְהֵי כָּל פָּלְחַן בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן לְכָל מַטּוּלְהוֹן וּלְכֹל פָּלְחַנְהוֹן וּתְמַנּוּן עֲלֵיהוֹן בְּמַטְּרָא יָת כָּל מַטּוּלְהוֹן: (כח) דֵּין פָּלְחַן זַרְעֲיַת בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא וּמַטַּרְתְּהוֹן בִּידָא דְאִיתָמָר בַּר אַהֲרֹן כַּהֲנָא:
21. Hashem spoke to Moshe, saying: 22. Acquire the accounting[1] of the children of Gershon, also they, according to their fathers’ house(s) by their families. 23. From the age of 30 years and up, until the age of 50 years, count them – all who come to serve in service, to perform labor in the Tent of Meeting. 24. This is the labor of the families of Gershon[2] to perform and to carry: 25. they shall carry the curtains of the Tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the multicolored[3] covering that is on top of it, and the screen for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting; 26. the hangings of the courtyard, and the screen at the entrance of the courtyard gate that is on the Tabernacle and on the altar all around, and their cords, and all the utensils of their service and all that was assigned to them,[4] and they shall serve. 27. By the word of Aharon[5] and his sons will all the labor of the Gershonite sons be, for all their loads and for all their labor. You shall appoint all their loads upon them in (their) charge. 28. This is the labor of the families of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting, and their charge in the hand of Isamar son of Aharon the priest.
(כט) בְּנֵ֖י מְרָרִ֑י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֥ם לְבֵית־אֲבֹתָ֖ם תִּפְקֹ֥ד אֹתָֽם׃ (ל) מִבֶּן֩ שְׁלֹשִׁ֨ים שָׁנָ֜ה וָמַ֗עְלָה וְעַ֛ד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה תִּפְקְדֵ֑ם כׇּל־הַבָּא֙ לַצָּבָ֔א לַעֲבֹ֕ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (לא) וְזֹאת֙ מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת מַשָּׂאָ֔ם לְכׇל־עֲבֹדָתָ֖ם בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד קַרְשֵׁי֙ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וּבְרִיחָ֖יו וְעַמּוּדָ֥יו וַאֲדָנָֽיו׃ (לב) וְעַמּוּדֵי֩ הֶחָצֵ֨ר סָבִ֜יב וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֗ם וִיתֵֽדֹתָם֙ וּמֵ֣יתְרֵיהֶ֔ם לְכׇ֨ל־כְּלֵיהֶ֔ם וּלְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וּבְשֵׁמֹ֣ת תִּפְקְד֔וּ אֶת־כְּלֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ (לג) זֹ֣את עֲבֹדַ֗ת מִשְׁפְּחֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י מְרָרִ֔י לְכׇל־עֲבֹדָתָ֖ם בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד בְּיַד֙ אִֽיתָמָ֔ר בֶּֽן־אַהֲרֹ֖ן הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (לד) וַיִּפְקֹ֨ד מֹשֶׁ֧ה וְאַהֲרֹ֛ן וּנְשִׂיאֵ֥י הָעֵדָ֖ה אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י הַקְּהָתִ֑י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם וּלְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָֽם׃ (לה) מִבֶּ֨ן שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה וְעַ֖ד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה כׇּל־הַבָּא֙ לַצָּבָ֔א לַעֲבֹדָ֖ה בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (לו) וַיִּהְי֥וּ פְקֻדֵיהֶ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם אַלְפַּ֕יִם שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וַחֲמִשִּֽׁים׃ (לז) אֵ֤לֶּה פְקוּדֵי֙ מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת הַקְּהָתִ֔י כׇּל־הָעֹבֵ֖ד בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד אֲשֶׁ֨ר פָּקַ֤ד מֹשֶׁה֙ וְאַהֲרֹ֔ן עַל־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ {ס}
(כט) בְּנֵי מְרָרִי לְזַרְעֲיַתְהוֹן לְבֵית אֲבָהַתְהוֹן תִּמְנֵי יָתְהוֹן: (ל) מִבַּר תְּלָתִין שְׁנִין וּלְעֵלָּא וְעַד בַּר חַמְשִׁין שְׁנִין תִּמְנִנּוּן כָּל דְּאָתֵי לְחֵילָא לְמִפְלַח יָת פָּלְחַן מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (לא) וְדָא מַטְּרַת מַטּוּלְהוֹן לְכָל פָּלְחַנְהוֹן בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא דַּפֵּי מַשְׁכְּנָא וְעַבְרוֹהִי וְעַמּוּדוֹהִי וְסַמְכוֹהִי: (לב) וְעַמּוּדֵי דְדַרְתָּא סְחוֹר סְחוֹר וְסַמְכֵיהוֹן וְסִכֵּיהוֹן וְאַטּוּנֵיהוֹן לְכָל מָנֵיהוֹן וּלְכֹל פָּלְחַנְהוֹן וּבִשְׁמָהָן תְּמַנּוּן יָת מָנֵי מַטְּרַת מַטּוּלְהוֹן: (לג) דֵּין פָּלְחַן זַרְעֲיַת בְּנֵי מְרָרִי לְכָל פָּלְחַנְהוֹן בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא בִּידָא דְאִיתָמָר בַּר אַהֲרֹן כַּהֲנָא: (לד) וּמְנָא משֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן וְרַבְרְבֵי כְנִשְׁתָּא יָת בְּנֵי קְהָת לְזַרְעֲיַתְהוֹן וּלְבֵית אֲבָהַתְהוֹן: (לה) מִבַּר תְּלָתִין שְׁנִין וּלְעֵלָּא וְעַד בַּר חַמְשִׁין שְׁנִין כָּל דְּאָתֵי לְחֵילָא לְפָלְחָנָא בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (לו) וַהֲווֹ מְנְיָנֵיהוֹן לְזַרְעֲיַתְהוֹן תְּרֵין אַלְפִין שְׁבַע מְאָה וְחַמְשִׁין: (לז) אִלֵּין מִנְיָנֵי זַרְעֲיַת קְהָת כָּל דְּפָלַח בְּמַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא דִּי מְנָא משֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן עַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ בִּידָא דְמשֶׁה:
29. The children of Merari by their families according to their fathers’ house(s) you shall count them. 30. From the age of 30 years and up, until the age of 50 years, count them – all who come to serve in service, to perform the labor of the Tent of Meeting. 31. This is the charge of their load for all their labor in the Tent of Meeting: the planks of the Tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets; 32. the pillars of the courtyard all around, and their sockets, and their pegs, and their cords, for all their utensils and for all their labor. And by name you shall appoint the utensils of the charge of their load. 33. This is the labor of the families of the sons of Merari for all their labor in the Tent of Meeting in the hand of Isamar son of Aharon the priest. 34. Moshe, Aharon and the leaders[6] of the congregation counted sons of Kehas[7] by their families and according to their fathers’ house(s), 35. from the age of 30 years and up until the age of 50 years, all who come for service, for work in the Tent of Meeting. 36. Their counted according to their families were 2,750. 37. This is the count of the families of Kehas, all who work in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moshe and Aharon counted by Hashem’s word through Moshe’s hand.
