(מז) וְכִ֣י תַשִּׂ֗יג יַ֣ד גֵּ֤ר וְתוֹשָׁב֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ וּמָ֥ךְ אָחִ֖יךָ עִמּ֑וֹ וְנִמְכַּ֗ר לְגֵ֤ר תּוֹשָׁב֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ א֥וֹ לְעֵ֖קֶר מִשְׁפַּ֥חַת גֵּֽר׃ (מח) אַחֲרֵ֣י נִמְכַּ֔ר גְּאֻלָּ֖ה תִּהְיֶה־לּ֑וֹ אֶחָ֥ד מֵאֶחָ֖יו יִגְאָלֶֽנּוּ׃ (מט) אוֹ־דֹד֞וֹ א֤וֹ בֶן־דֹּדוֹ֙ יִגְאָלֶ֔נּוּ אֽוֹ־מִשְּׁאֵ֧ר בְּשָׂר֛וֹ מִמִּשְׁפַּחְתּ֖וֹ יִגְאָלֶ֑נּוּ אֽוֹ־הִשִּׂ֥יגָה יָד֖וֹ וְנִגְאָֽל׃ (נ) וְחִשַּׁב֙ עִם־קֹנֵ֔הוּ מִשְּׁנַת֙ הִמָּ֣כְרוֹ ל֔וֹ עַ֖ד שְׁנַ֣ת הַיֹּבֵ֑ל וְהָיָ֞ה כֶּ֤סֶף מִמְכָּרוֹ֙ בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר שָׁנִ֔ים כִּימֵ֥י שָׂכִ֖יר יִהְיֶ֥ה עִמּֽוֹ׃ (נא) אִם־ע֥וֹד רַבּ֖וֹת בַּשָּׁנִ֑ים לְפִיהֶן֙ יָשִׁ֣יב גְּאֻלָּת֔וֹ מִכֶּ֖סֶף מִקְנָתֽוֹ׃ (נב) וְאִם־מְעַ֞ט נִשְׁאַ֧ר בַּשָּׁנִ֛ים עַד־שְׁנַ֥ת הַיֹּבֵ֖ל וְחִשַּׁב־ל֑וֹ כְּפִ֣י שָׁנָ֔יו יָשִׁ֖יב אֶת־גְּאֻלָּתֽוֹ׃ (נג) כִּשְׂכִ֥יר שָׁנָ֛ה בְּשָׁנָ֖ה יִהְיֶ֣ה עִמּ֑וֹ לֹֽא־יִרְדֶּ֥נּֽוּ בְּפֶ֖רֶךְ לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ (נד) וְאִם־לֹ֥א יִגָּאֵ֖ל בְּאֵ֑לֶּה וְיָצָא֙ בִּשְׁנַ֣ת הַיֹּבֵ֔ל ה֖וּא וּבָנָ֥יו עִמּֽוֹ׃ (נה) כִּֽי־לִ֤י בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עֲבָדִ֔ים עֲבָדַ֣י הֵ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־הוֹצֵ֥אתִי אוֹתָ֖ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
(מז) וַאֲרֵי תַדְבֵּק יַד עָרֵל וְתוֹתָב עִמָּךְ וְיִתְמַסְכַּן אָחוּךְ עִמֵּיהּ וְיִזְדַּבַּן לְעָרֵל תּוֹתָב עִמָּךְ אוֹ לְאַרְמַי זַרְעִית גִּיּוֹרָא: (מח) בָּתַר דְּיִזְדַּבַּן פֻּרְקָנָא תְּהֵי לֵיהּ חַד מֵאֲחוֹהִי יִפְרְקִנֵּיהּ: (מט) אוֹ אַח אֲבוּהִי אוֹ בַר אַח אֲבוּהִי יִפְרְקִנֵּיהּ אוֹ מִקָּרִיב בִּשְׂרֵיהּ מִזַּרְעִיתֵיהּ יִפְרְקִנֵּיהּ אוֹ דְתַדְבֵּק יְדֵיהּ וְיִתְפָּרָק: (נ) וִיחַשֵּׁב עִם זָבְנֵיהּ מִשַּׁתָּא דְּאִזְדַּבַּן לֵיהּ עַד שַׁתָּא דְיוֹבֵלָא וִיהֵי כְּסַף זְבִינוֹהִי בְּמִנְיַן שְׁנַיָא כְּיוֹמֵי אֲגִירָא יְהֵי עִמֵּיהּ: (נא) אִם עוֹד סְגִיּוּת בִּשְׁנַיָּא לְפוּמְהֵן יָתֵיב פֻּרְקָנֵיהּ מִכְּסַף זְבִינוֹהִי: (נב) וְאִם זְעֵר יִשְׁתָּאַר בִּשְׁנַיָּא עַד שַׁתָּא דְיוֹבֵלָא וִיחַשֵּׁב לֵיהּ כְּפוּם שְׁנוֹהִי יָתֵב יָת פֻּרְקָנֵיהּ: (נג) כַּאֲגִיר שְׁנָא בִּשְׁנָא יְהֵי עִמֵּיהּ לָא יִפְלַח בֵּיהּ בְּקַשְׁיוּ לְעֵינָיךְ: (נד) וְאִם לָא יִתְפָּרַק בְּאִלֵּין וְיִפּוֹק בְּשַׁתָּא דְיוֹבֵלָא הוּא וּבְנוֹהִי עִמֵּיהּ: (נה) אֲרֵי דִילִי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַבְדִּין עַבְדַּי אִנּוּן דִּי אֲפֵּיקִית יָתְהוֹן מֵאַרְעָא דְמִצְרָיִם אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן:
47. If an uncircumcised resident[1] prospers[2] with you and your brother becomes poor with him and is sold to the uncircumcised resident with you, or to an Aramean of a convert’s family,[3] 48. after he will be sold, he shall have redemption; one of his brothers shall redeem him, 49. or his father’s brother,[4] or his father’s brother’s son shall redeem him, or a close relative from his family shall redeem him, or if he has prospered, he may redeem (himself). 50. He shall calculate with his buyer from the year of his sale to him until the jubilee year. The money of his sale will be in the number of years; like the days of a hired worker it shall be with him. 51. If there are still many years, according to them he shall repay his redemption from the money of his purchase, 52. and if few years remain until the jubilee year, he shall calculate it. According to his years he shall repay his redemption. 53. As a worker hired year by year he shall be with him; he shall not work him harshly in your sight.[5] 54. And if he’s not redeemed in these (ways), he will go out in the jubilee year – he and his children with him. 55. Because the children of Israel are servants of Mine;[6] they are My servants, that I took them out from the land of Egypt. I am Hashem your God.
Chapter 26
(א) לֹֽא־תַעֲשׂ֨וּ לָכֶ֜ם אֱלִילִ֗ם וּפֶ֤סֶל וּמַצֵּבָה֙ לֹֽא־תָקִ֣ימוּ לָכֶ֔ם וְאֶ֣בֶן מַשְׂכִּ֗ית לֹ֤א תִתְּנוּ֙ בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֖ת עָלֶ֑יהָ כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (ב) אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתַ֣י תִּשְׁמֹ֔רוּ וּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י תִּירָ֑אוּ אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
(א) לָא תַעְבְּדוּן לְכוֹן טַעֲוָן וְצֶלֶם וְקָמָא לָא תְקִימוּן לְכוֹן וְאֶבֶן סָגְדָא לָא תִתְּנוּן בְּאַרְעֲכוֹן לְמִסְגֻּד עֲלַהּ אֲרֵי אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן: (ב) יָת יוֹמֵי שַׁבַּיָּא דִילִי תִטְּרוּן וּלְבֵית מַקְדְּשִׁי תְּהוֹן דָּחֲלִין אֲנָא יְיָ:
1. You shall not make yourselves errors,[7] and you shall not erect for yourselves an image[8] and a pillar, and you shall not place a bowing stone[9] in your land to bow down on it for I am Hashem your God. 2. You shall observe My Sabbath days[10] and revere My Temple;[11] I am Hashem.
