(לג) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (לד) דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה עָשָׂ֜ר י֗וֹם לַחֹ֤דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי֙ הַזֶּ֔ה חַ֧ג הַסֻּכּ֛וֹת שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (לה) בַּיּ֥וֹם הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן מִקְרָא־קֹ֑דֶשׁ כׇּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (לו) שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֔ים תַּקְרִ֥יבוּ אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהֹוָ֑ה בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֡י מִקְרָא־קֹ֩דֶשׁ֩ יִהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֜ם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֨ם אִשֶּׁ֤ה לַֽיהֹוָה֙ עֲצֶ֣רֶת הִ֔וא כׇּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃ (לז) אֵ֚לֶּה מוֹעֲדֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְא֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם מִקְרָאֵ֣י קֹ֑דֶשׁ לְהַקְרִ֨יב אִשֶּׁ֜ה לַיהֹוָ֗ה עֹלָ֧ה וּמִנְחָ֛ה זֶ֥בַח וּנְסָכִ֖ים דְּבַר־י֥וֹם בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃ (לח) מִלְּבַ֖ד שַׁבְּתֹ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה וּמִלְּבַ֣ד מַתְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם וּמִלְּבַ֤ד כׇּל־נִדְרֵיכֶם֙ וּמִלְּבַד֙ כׇּל־נִדְבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּתְּנ֖וּ לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (לט) אַ֡ךְ בַּחֲמִשָּׁה֩ עָשָׂ֨ר י֜וֹם לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י בְּאׇסְפְּכֶם֙ אֶת־תְּבוּאַ֣ת הָאָ֔רֶץ תָּחֹ֥גּוּ אֶת־חַג־יְהֹוָ֖ה שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים בַּיּ֤וֹם הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ שַׁבָּת֔וֹן וּבַיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֖י שַׁבָּתֽוֹן׃ (מ) וּלְקַחְתֶּ֨ם לָכֶ֜ם בַּיּ֣וֹם הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן פְּרִ֨י עֵ֤ץ הָדָר֙ כַּפֹּ֣ת תְּמָרִ֔ים וַעֲנַ֥ף עֵץ־עָבֹ֖ת וְעַרְבֵי־נָ֑חַל וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵ֛י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃ (מא) וְחַגֹּתֶ֤ם אֹתוֹ֙ חַ֣ג לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה חֻקַּ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י תָּחֹ֥גּוּ אֹתֽוֹ׃ (מב) בַּסֻּכֹּ֥ת תֵּשְׁב֖וּ שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים כׇּל־הָֽאֶזְרָח֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יֵשְׁב֖וּ בַּסֻּכֹּֽת׃ (מג) לְמַ֘עַן֮ יֵדְע֣וּ דֹרֹֽתֵיכֶם֒ כִּ֣י בַסֻּכּ֗וֹת הוֹשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּהוֹצִיאִ֥י אוֹתָ֖ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (מד) וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶת־מֹעֲדֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֑ה אֶל־בְּנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
(לג) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (לד) מַלֵּיל עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמֵימָר בְּחַמְשָׁא עַשְׁרָא יוֹמָא לְיַרְחָא שְׁבִיעָאָה הָדֵין חַגָּא דִמְטַלַּיָּא שִׁבְעַת יוֹמִין קֳדָם יְיָ: (לה) בְּיוֹמָא קַדְמָאָה מְעָרַע קַדִּישׁ כָּל עִבִידַת פָּלְחָן לָא תַעְבְּדוּן: (לו) שִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין תְּקָרְבוּן קֻרְבָּנָא קֳדָם יְיָ בְּיוֹמָא תְמִינָאָה מְעָרַע קַדִּישׁ יְהֵי לְכוֹן וּתְקָרְבוּן קֻרְבָּנָא קֳדָם יְיָ כְּנֵשׁ תְּהוֹן כָּל עִבִידַת פָּלְחָן לָא תַעְבְּדוּן: (לז) אִלֵּין מוֹעֲדַיָּא דַיְיָ דִּי תְעָרְעוּן יָתְהוֹן מְעָרְעֵי קַדִּישׁ לְקָרָבָא קֻרְבָּנָא קֳדָם יְיָ עֲלָתָא וּמִנְחָתָא נִכְסַת קוּדְשִׁין וְנִסּוּכִין פִּתְגַם יוֹם בְּיוֹמֵיהּ: (לח) בַּר שַׁבַּיָּא דַיְיָ וּבַר מַתְּנָתֵיכוֹן וּבַר כָּל נִדְרֵיכוֹן וּבַר כָּל נִדְבָתֵיכוֹן דִּי תִתְּנוּן קֳדָם יְיָ: (לט) בְּרַם בְּחַמְשָׁא עֲשַׁר יוֹמָא לְיַרְחָא שְׁבִיעָאָה בְּמִכְנְשֵׁיכוֹן יָת עֲלַלַת אַרְעָא תְּחַגּוּן יָת חַגָּא קֳדָם יְיָ שִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין בְּיוֹמָא קַדְמָאָה נְיָחָא וּבְיוֹמָא תְמִינָאָה נְיָחָא: (מ) וְתִסְּבוּן לְכוֹן בְּיוֹמָא קַדְמָאָה פֵּרֵי אִילָנָא אֶתְרוֹגִין וְלֻלַּבִּין וַהֲדַסִּין וְעַרְבִין דִּנְחָל וְתֶחֱדוּן קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן שַׁבְעַת יוֹמִין: (מא) וּתְחַגּוּן יָתֵיהּ חַגָּא קֳדָם יְיָ שַׁבְעַת יוֹמִין בְּשַׁתָּא קְיַם עָלָם לְדָרֵיכוֹן בְּיַרְחָא שְׁבִיעָאָה תְּחַגּוּן יָתֵיהּ: (מב) בִּמְטַלַּיָּא תֵיתְבוּן שַׁבְעַת יוֹמִין כָּל יַצִּיבָא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל יֵתְבוּן בִּמְטַלַּיָּא: (מג) בְּדִיל דִּיִדְּעוּן דָּרֵיכוֹן אֲרֵי בִמְטַלָּיוּת עֲנָנֵי אוֹתֵבִית יָת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאַפָּקוּתִי יָתְהוֹן מֵאַרְעָא דְמִצְרָיִם אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן: (מד) וּמַלִּיל משֶׁה יָת סְדַר מוֹעֲדַיָּא דַיְיָ וְאַלֵּפִנּוּן לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל:
33. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 34. Speak with the children of Israel, saying: On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, the festival of booths,[1] seven days before Hashem. 35. On the first day, a holy occasion; all labor of work you shall not perform. 36. (For) seven days you shall offer an offering before Hashem. On the eighth day, it shall be a holy occasion; offer an offering before Hashem. You shall assemble;[2] all labor of work you shall not perform. 37. These are the appointed times of Hashem that you shall celebrate them, holy occasions to offer an offering before Hashem – burnt offering and flour offering, holiness sacrifice and libations, the thing of a day on its day, 38. Aside from the Sabbaths of Hashem, and aside from your gifts, and aside from all your vow (offering)s, and aside from all your donations that you give before Hashem. 39. But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, in your gathering the crop of the land, you shall celebrate the festival before Hashem (for) seven days, on the first day a rest and on the eighth day a rest. 40. You shall take on the first day the fruit of esrog trees,[3] lulavim,[4] hadassim[5] and willows of the brook. You shall rejoice before Hashem your God (for) seven days. 41. You shall celebrate it as a festival before Hashem (for) seven days in the year. It is an eternal statute for your generations: in the seventh month you shall celebrate it. 42. In booths you shall dwell (for) seven days; all native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths, 43. in order that your generations will know that I caused the children of Israel to dwell in booths of clouds when I brought them out from the land of Egypt; I am Hashem your God. 44. Moshe spoke the order of Hashem’s appointed times and taught them to the children of Israel.
