Chapter 17
(א) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (ב) דַּבֵּ֨ר אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֜ן וְאֶל־בָּנָ֗יו וְאֶל֙ כׇּל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ (ג) אִ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁחַ֜ט שׁ֥וֹר אוֹ־כֶ֛שֶׂב אוֹ־עֵ֖ז בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה א֚וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִשְׁחַ֔ט מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ (ד) וְאֶל־פֶּ֜תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵד֮ לֹ֣א הֱבִיאוֹ֒ לְהַקְרִ֤יב קׇרְבָּן֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י מִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהֹוָ֑ה דָּ֣ם יֵחָשֵׁ֞ב לָאִ֤ישׁ הַהוּא֙ דָּ֣ם שָׁפָ֔ךְ וְנִכְרַ֛ת הָאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמּֽוֹ׃ (ה) לְמַ֩עַן֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָבִ֜יאוּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶֽת־זִבְחֵיהֶם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֵ֣ם זֹבְחִים֮ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶה֒ וֶֽהֱבִיאֻ֣ם לַֽיהֹוָ֗ה אֶל־פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְזָ֨בְח֜וּ זִבְחֵ֧י שְׁלָמִ֛ים לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה אוֹתָֽם׃ (ו) וְזָרַ֨ק הַכֹּהֵ֤ן אֶת־הַדָּם֙ עַל־מִזְבַּ֣ח יְהֹוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַחֵ֔לֶב לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהֹוָֽה׃ (ז) וְלֹא־יִזְבְּח֥וּ עוֹד֙ אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶ֔ם לַשְּׂעִירִ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר הֵ֥ם זֹנִ֖ים אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם תִּֽהְיֶה־זֹּ֥את לָהֶ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃
(א) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (ב) מַלֵּל עִם אַהֲרֹן וְעִם בְּנוֹהִי וְעִם כָּל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתֵימַר לְהוֹן דֵּין פִּתְגָּמָא דִּי פַקִּיד יְיָ לְמֵימָר: (ג) גְּבַר גְּבַר מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל דִּי יִכּוֹס תּוֹר אוֹ אִמַּר אוֹ עִזָּא בְּמַשְׁרִיתָא אוֹ דִּי יִכּוֹס מִבָּרָא לְמַשְׁרִיתָא: (ד) וְלִתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא לָא אַיְתֵיהּ לְקָרָבָא קֻרְבָּנָא קֳדָם יְיָ קֳדָם מַשְׁכְּנָא דַיְיָ דְּמָא יִתְחַשַּׁב לְגַבְרָא הַהוּא דְּמָא אֲשַׁד וְיִשְׁתֵּיצֵי אֲנָשָׁא הַהוּא מִגּוֹ עַמֵּיהּ: (ה) בְּדִיל דִּי יַיְתוּן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יָת דִּבְחֵיהוֹן דִּי אִנּוּן דָּבְחִין עַל אַפֵּי חַקְלָא וְיַיְתֻנּוּן לָקֳדָם יְיָ לִתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא לְוָת כַּהֲנָא וְיִכְּסוּן נִכְסַת קוּדְשִׁין קֳדָם יְיָ יָתְהוֹן: (ו) וְיִזְרוֹק כַּהֲנָא יָת דְּמָא עַל מַדְבְּחָא דַיְיָ בִּתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא וְיַסֵּק תַּרְבָּא לְאִתְקַבָּלָא בְרַעֲוָא קֳדָם יְיָ: (ז) וְלָא יִדְבְּחוּן עוֹד יָת דִּבְחֵיהוֹן לַשֵּׁדִין דִּי אִנּוּן טָעָן בַּתְרֵיהוֹן קְיַם עָלָם תְּהֵי דָא לְהוֹן לְדָרֵיהוֹן:
1. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 2. Speak with Aharon and with his sons and with all the children of Israel and say to them, this is the matter that Hashem has commanded, saying: 3. any person of the house of Israel who will slaughter an ox or a sheep or a goat in the camp, or who will slaughter outside the camp, 4. and to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting he will not bring it to offer it as an offering before Hashem, before Hashem’s Tabernacle, it will be considered blood[1] to that person. He spilled blood and that person shall be eradicated[2] from among his people, 5. in order that the children of Israel will bring the sacrifices that they have been sacrificing opposite the field(s) and bring them to before Hashem, to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them as holiness sacrifices[3] before Hashem. 6. The priest shall throw the blood on the altar of Hashem at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and offer up the fat to be accepted with favor[4] before Hashem. 7. And they shall not sacrifice their sacrifices to the demons[5] after whom they stray. This shall be an eternal statute to them for their generations.
