826. Matzah Ashirah

117:6 In a case of great need, such as for a sick person or an elderly person, one may bake matzah mixed with egg, fruit juice, milk, wine, etc. This is called "matzah ashirah" ("rich matzah"). This is permitted so long as one is careful not to mix in even a little water. On the first two nights of Pesach, however, one must eat regular matzah; one cannot fulfill the mitzvah with matzah ashirah. If there is no compelling need, then one is forbidden to bake matzah ashirah even before Pesach for use on Pesach.

117:7 One who tosses grain or bran to feed chickens must be careful to do so in a dry place so that they will not get wet. (Some authorities say that one must be careful about this even before Pesach unless he watches to make sure that it all gets eaten - Mishnah Brurah 465:5.) It is prohibited to give bran to cattle because it will become wet from their saliva. Also, if one gives them grain, he must be careful to do so a little at a time so as not to leave over any that will become wet. If they leave any over, it must be burnt immediately.
