Judges 4:4
וּדְבוֹרָה אִשָּׁה נְבִיאָה אֵשֶׁת לַפִּידוֹת הִיא שֹׁפְטָה אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּעֵת הַהִיא
Deborah was a prophetess, a fiery woman. She judged Israel at that time.
The commentators have a variety of explanations foe “eishes lapidos,” which we have translated as “a fiery woman.” The Radak cites a Midrash that derives from this verse that Deborah was married to her general, Barak, whom we meet in verse 6. “Eishes lapidos” can mean “the wife of Lapidos.” Lapidos are flashes of light and Barak’s name means lightning.
