Continuing pesukei d'zimra, the morning verses of praise Verse 8 tells us that some armies would rely on their chariots and others put their faith in their horses. King David’s army, however, would call upon G-d in order to be successful in battle. What exactly would they call? According to the Radak, this verse: “Hashem, hoshia!” - “G-d, save!”
