Parshas Ki Sisa - Shlishi

(יב) וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶל־יְהֹוָ֗ה רְ֠אֵ֠ה אַתָּ֞ה אֹמֵ֤ר אֵלַי֙ הַ֚עַל אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה וְאַתָּה֙ לֹ֣א הֽוֹדַעְתַּ֔נִי אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־תִּשְׁלַ֖ח עִמִּ֑י וְאַתָּ֤ה אָמַ֙רְתָּ֙ יְדַעְתִּ֣יךָֽ בְשֵׁ֔ם וְגַם־מָצָ֥אתָ חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינָֽי׃ (יג) וְעַתָּ֡ה אִם־נָא֩ מָצָ֨אתִי חֵ֜ן בְּעֵינֶ֗יךָ הוֹדִעֵ֤נִי נָא֙ אֶת־דְּרָכֶ֔ךָ וְאֵדָ֣עֲךָ֔ לְמַ֥עַן אֶמְצָא־חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וּרְאֵ֕ה כִּ֥י עַמְּךָ֖ הַגּ֥וֹי הַזֶּֽה׃ (יד) וַיֹּאמַ֑ר פָּנַ֥י יֵלֵ֖כוּ וַהֲנִחֹ֥תִי לָֽךְ׃ (טו) וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֵלָ֑יו אִם־אֵ֤ין פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ הֹלְכִ֔ים אַֽל־תַּעֲלֵ֖נוּ מִזֶּֽה׃ (טז) וּבַמֶּ֣ה ׀ יִוָּדַ֣ע אֵפ֗וֹא כִּֽי־מָצָ֨אתִי חֵ֤ן בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ אֲנִ֣י וְעַמֶּ֔ךָ הֲל֖וֹא בְּלֶכְתְּךָ֣ עִמָּ֑נוּ וְנִפְלִ֙ינוּ֙ אֲנִ֣י וְעַמְּךָ֔ מִכׇּ֨ל־הָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ {פ}

(יב) וַאֲמַר משֶׁה קֳדָם יְיָ חֲזֵי דְאַתְּ אָמַר לִי אַסֵּיק יָת עַמָּא הָדֵין וְאַתְּ לָא הוֹדַעְתַּנִי יָת דִּי תִשְׁלַח עִמִּי וְאַתְּ אָמַרְתְּ רַבִּיתָךְ בְּשׁוּם וְאַף אַשְׁכַּחְתָּא רַחֲמִין קֳדָמָי: (יג) וּכְעַן אִם כְּעַן אַשְׁכָּחִית רַחֲמִין קֳדָמָךְ הוֹדַעְנִי כְעַן יָת אוֹרַח טוּבָךְ וְאִדַּע רַחֲמָךְ בְּדִיל דְּאַשְׁכַּח רַחֲמִין קֳדָמָךְ וּגְלֵי קָדָמָךְ אֲרֵי עַמָּךְ עַמָּא הָדֵין: (יד) וַאֲמַר שְׁכִנְתִּי תְהַךְ וְאָנִיחַ לָךְ: (טו) וַאֲמַר קֳדָמוֹהִי אִם לֵית שְׁכִנְתָּךְ מְהַלְּכָא בֵינָנָא לָא תַסְקִינָנָא מִכָּא: (טז) וּבַמֶּה יִתְיַדַּע הָכָא אֲרֵי אַשְׁכָּחִית רַחֲמִין קֳדָמָךְ אֲנָא וְעַמָּךְ הֲלָא בְּמֵהַךְ שְׁכִנְתָּךְ עִמָּנָא וְיִתְעַבְּדַן לָנָא פְרִישָׁן לִי וּלְעַמָּךְ מְשַׁנֵּי מִכָּל עַמָּא דִּי עַל אַפֵּי אַרְעָא:

12. Moshe said before Hashem, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring this people up,’ but You have not made known to me whom You will send with me. And You said, ‘I have increased you by name and also you have found favor before Me.’ 13. And now, if I have please found favor before You, please make the way of Your goodness[1] known to me. I will know Your favor in order to find favor before You. And it is revealed before You that this nation is Your people.” 14. He said, “My presence[2] will go and I will give you rest.” 15. He said before Him, “If Your presence doesn’t go among us, do not bring us up from here. 16. How will it be known here that I have found favor before You – I and Your people? Is it not in that Your presence goes with us and performs wonders for us, for me and for Your people, different from every people on the face of the earth?”
