Hilchos Nedarim 9:2

Let’s say that someone made a vow or an oath not to eat salted food. If the local practice is to call everything salted “salted food,” then he may not eat any of them. If the local practice is only to call salted fish “salted food,” then he is only prohibited to eat salted fish.

Hilchos Nedarim 9:3

Let’s say that someone made a vow or an oath not to eat pickled food. If the local practice is to call everything pickled “pickled food,” then he may not eat any of them. If the local practice is only to call pickled vegetables “pickled food,” then he is only prohibited to eat pickled vegetables. The same is true in all comparable cases.
