Zevachim 5:1-2

Zevachim 5:1

Kodshei kodashim (most-holy sacrifices) are slaughtered on the north side of the Temple courtyard. The bull and male goat of the Yom Kippur service are slaughtered in the north, their blood is collected in a vessel in the north, and their blood must be sprinkled between the poles of the Ark, on the curtain and on the golden altar; omitting any one of these sprinklings invalidates the sacrifice. The rest of the blood is poured out on the western base of the outside altar but failure to do so does not invalidate the sacrifice.

Zevachim 5:2

The bulls and male goats that are burned in their entirety are slaughtered in the north, their blood is collected in a vessel in the north, and their blood must be sprinkled on the curtain and on the golden altar; omitting one of these sprinklings invalidates the sacrifice. The rest of the blood is poured out on the western base of the outside altar but failure to do so does not invalidate the sacrifice. Both these and Yom Kippur sacrifices from the previous mishna are burned in the place where the ashes were taken (which was outside Jerusalem).
