The Israel Land Transaction Act of 1313 BCE
Land in Israel was apportioned to the families of the various Tribes, so it was not to be sold per se. Rather, it was leased according to the number of years until the next Jubilee. The price would be adjusted accordingly and fair land transactions would help ensure the Jews' security in the land.
