2,758. Permitting Vows of Sanctification
Hilchos Nedarim 4:7
Just as one may have vows of prohibition permitted, one may likewise have vows of sanctification permitted. This applies both to consecrating for Temple upkeep and consecrating for use as an offering. An animal to which sanctity has been transferred cannot be permitted.
Hilchos Nedarim 4:8
Just as a woman’s father or husband can annul her vows of prohibition, they can likewise annul her vows of sanctification that are similar to vows of prohibition.
