Brachos 8:1

This chapter enumerates the differences of opinion between Bais Hillel and Bais Shammai when it comes to meals. Bais Shammai says that in Kiddush, we recite the blessing for the day first, followed by the blessing over the wine. Bais Hillel says we recite the blessing over the wine first, followed by the blessing for the day.

Brachos 8:2

Bais Shammai says the diners wash their hands before pouring the wine for Kiddush; Bais Hillel says they prepare the cup before washing their hands.
