Pinchas - Shishi
…and a goat for a sin offering.
This aliyah describes the additional offerings brought on each of the Festivals. Each animal was to be accompanied by the appropriate flour offering and wine libation.
On the first day of Passover, the korban musaf consisted of two bulls, a ram and seven sheep. There was also a sin offering of a goat. (All this is in addition to the regular daily korban tamid, offered morning and afternoon.) This sacrifice was repeated each day of Passover.
On Shavuos, the sacrifice was likewise two bulls, a ram and seven sheep, plus a sin offering of a goat. (You know what? They ALL have the goat for a sin offering, so let's take that as a given.)
On Rosh Hashana, the musaf was one bull, a ram and seven sheep, plus the goat for the sin offering. This was in addition to the musaf already being offered for Rosh Chodesh (because Rosh Hashana is the first day of the month of Tishrei).
On Yom Kippur, the musaf offering was the same: a bull, a ram and seven sheep, plus the sin offering goat, in addition to the special Yom Kippur sin offering selected by lottery, as we discussed in parshas Acharei Mos (Leviticus chapter 16).
