Kilayim 8:1-2

Kilayim 8:1

Grain or vegetables may not be planted in a vineyard, nor may they be permitted to remain if they grew on their own, nor may one derive any benefit from them. Kilayim of mixed seeds may not be planted or allowed to remain but they may be eaten and one may derive benefit from them. One may derive benefit from garments of shaatnez (a mixture of wool and linen); it’s only forbidden to wear them. It is permitted to raise mixed-species animals; it is only prohibited to crossbreed such animals. Crossbred animals may not be driven together in a team.

Kilayim 8:2

Animals of different species may not plow or pull together. This includes two different domesticated animals, two different wild animals, or one of each; two different kosher animals, two different non-kosher animals, or one of each.
