Terumos 10:9-10

Terumos 10:9

If one pickled non-kosher locusts and kosher locusts together, the liquid in which the mixture is pickled is not thereby rendered non-kosher. Rabbi Tzadok testified that even the liquid in which non-kosher locusts are pickled is kosher.

Terumos 10:10

Whenever terumah vegetables are pickled with chullin vegetables, the chullin remains permitted except in the case of leeks (which easily transmit and impart flavor). Therefore, if one pickles terumah leeks with chullin leeks, or terumah leeks with other chullin vegetables, the chullin becomes prohibited. If one pickles chullin leeks with other vegetables of terumah, the chullin leeks remain permitted.
