Shabbos 6:2-3

Shabbos 6:2

A man may not go out on Shabbos wearing sandals that are nailed together (and are dangerous), nor wearing a single shoe unless it’s because of a foot injury (because of the likelihood that he will come to carry it in the public domain), nor with tefillin (which are not worn on Shabbos), nor with an amulet if it is not from someone with a proven track record of curing people through such things, nor in chainmail, a war helmet or war boots. If a person did go out wearing any of these things, he would not be required to bring a sin offering.

Shabbos 6:3

A woman may not go out with a needle that has a hole nor with a ring that has a seal (as these are both utensils that may not be used on Shabbos), nor with a tiara, a pouch of potpourri or a jar of perfume (which was worn around the neck). If she did go out with one of these things, she would be required to bring a sin offering. This is the opinion of Rabbi Meir; the sages say that going out with the potpourri or perfume would not require her to bring a sin offering.
