(טו) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל־נֹ֥חַ לֵאמֹֽר׃ (טז) צֵ֖א מִן־הַתֵּבָ֑ה אַתָּ֕ה וְאִשְׁתְּךָ֛ וּבָנֶ֥יךָ וּנְשֵֽׁי־בָנֶ֖יךָ אִתָּֽךְ׃ (יז) כׇּל־הַחַיָּ֨ה אֲשֶֽׁר־אִתְּךָ֜ מִכׇּל־בָּשָׂ֗ר בָּע֧וֹף וּבַבְּהֵמָ֛ה וּבְכׇל־הָרֶ֛מֶשׂ הָרֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל־הָאָ֖רֶץ (הוצא) [הַיְצֵ֣א] אִתָּ֑ךְ וְשָֽׁרְצ֣וּ בָאָ֔רֶץ וּפָר֥וּ וְרָב֖וּ עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (יח) וַיֵּ֖צֵא־נֹ֑חַ וּבָנָ֛יו וְאִשְׁתּ֥וֹ וּנְשֵֽׁי־בָנָ֖יו אִתּֽוֹ׃ (יט) כׇּל־הַֽחַיָּ֗ה כׇּל־הָרֶ֙מֶשׂ֙ וְכׇל־הָע֔וֹף כֹּ֖ל רוֹמֵ֣שׂ עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם יָצְא֖וּ מִן־הַתֵּבָֽה׃ (כ) וַיִּ֥בֶן נֹ֛חַ מִזְבֵּ֖חַ לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה וַיִּקַּ֞ח מִכֹּ֣ל ׀ הַבְּהֵמָ֣ה הַטְּהֹרָ֗ה וּמִכֹּל֙ הָע֣וֹף הַטָּה֔וֹר וַיַּ֥עַל עֹלֹ֖ת בַּמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ (כא) וַיָּ֣רַח יְהֹוָה֮ אֶת־רֵ֣יחַ הַנִּיחֹ֒חַ֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל־לִבּ֗וֹ לֹֽא־אֹ֠סִ֠ף לְקַלֵּ֨ל ע֤וֹד אֶת־הָֽאֲדָמָה֙ בַּעֲב֣וּר הָֽאָדָ֔ם כִּ֠י יֵ֣צֶר לֵ֧ב הָאָדָ֛ם רַ֖ע מִנְּעֻרָ֑יו וְלֹֽא־אֹסִ֥ף ע֛וֹד לְהַכּ֥וֹת אֶת־כׇּל־חַ֖י כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִֽׂיתִי׃ (כב) עֹ֖ד כׇּל־יְמֵ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ זֶ֡רַע וְ֠קָצִ֠יר וְקֹ֨ר וָחֹ֜ם וְקַ֧יִץ וָחֹ֛רֶף וְי֥וֹם וָלַ֖יְלָה לֹ֥א יִשְׁבֹּֽתוּ׃
(טו) וּמַלֵּיל יְיָ עִם נֹחַ לְמֵימָר: (טז) פּוּק מִן תֵּבוֹתָא אַתְּ וְאִתְּתָךְ וּבְנָךְ וּנְשֵׁי בְנָךְ עִמָּךְ: (יז) כָּל חַיְתָא דִּעִמָּךְ מִכָּל בִּשְׂרָא בְּעוֹפָא וּבִבְעִירָא וּבְכָל רִחֲשָׁא דְּרָחֵשׁ עַל אַרְעָא אַפֵּיק עִמָּךְ וְיִתְיַלְּדוּן בְּאַרְעָא וְיִפְּשׁוּן וְיִסְגּוּן עַל אַרְעָא: (יח) וּנְפַק נֹחַ וּבְנוֹהִי וְאִתְּתֵיהּ וּנְשֵׁי בְנוֹהִי עִמֵּיהּ: (יט) כָּל חַיְתָא כָּל רִחֲשָׁא וְכָל עוֹפָא כֹּל דְּרָחֵשׁ עַל אַרְעָא לְזַרְעֲיָתְהוֹן נְפָקוּ מִן תֵּבוֹתָא: (כ) וּבְנָא נֹחַ מַדְבְּחָא קֳדָם יְיָ וּנְסִיב מִכֹּל בְּעִירָא דַכְיָא וּמִכֹּל עוֹפָא דְכֵי וְאַסֵּיק עֲלָוָן בְּמִדְבְּחָא: (כא) וְקַבִּיל יְיָ בְּרַעֲוָא יָת קוּרְבָּנֵיהּ וַאֲמַר יְיָ בְּמֵימְרֵיהּ לָא אוֹסֵף לְמֵילַט עוֹד יָת אַרְעָא בְּדִיל חוֹבֵי אֱנָשָׁא אֲרֵי יִצְרָא לִבָּא דֶאֱנָשָׁא בִּישׁ מִזְּעִירֵיהּ וְלָא אוֹסֵף עוֹד לְמִמְחֵי יָת כָּל דְּחַי כְּמָא דְעָבְדִית: (כב) עוֹד כָּל יוֹמֵי אַרְעָא זְרוֹעָא וַחֲצָדָא וְקוֹרָא וְחוֹמָא וְקַיְטָא וְסִתְוָא וִימָם וְלֵילְיָא לָא יִבְטְלוּן:
15. Hashem spoke with Noach,[11] saying: 16. “Come out from the ark, you, your wife, your sons and your sons’ wives. 17. Bring out with you all the living things that are with you, from the birds, from the beasts and from everything that creeps on earth so that they may swarm on the earth, and be fertile and increase on the earth.” 18. Noach came out, as did his sons, his wife and his sons’ wives. 19. All the animals, all the creeping things and all the birds, everything that crawls upon the earth came out of the ark according to their families. 20. Noah built an altar before Hashem and he took from every kosher animal and from every kosher bird. He offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21. Hashem accepted his sacrifice favorably and Hashem said through His word, “Never again will I curse the earth because of the sins of mankind,[12] since the intentions of man’s heart are evil from his youth. Nor will I ever again destroy every living thing as I did. 22. As long as the Earth lasts, planting and harvesting, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will not cease.”
Chapter 9
(א) וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־נֹ֖חַ וְאֶת־בָּנָ֑יו וַיֹּ֧אמֶר לָהֶ֛ם פְּר֥וּ וּרְב֖וּ וּמִלְא֥וּ אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (ב) וּמוֹרַאֲכֶ֤ם וְחִתְּכֶם֙ יִֽהְיֶ֔ה עַ֚ל כׇּל־חַיַּ֣ת הָאָ֔רֶץ וְעַ֖ל כׇּל־ע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם בְּכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּרְמֹ֧שׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֛ה וּֽבְכׇל־דְּגֵ֥י הַיָּ֖ם בְּיֶדְכֶ֥ם נִתָּֽנוּ׃ (ג) כׇּל־רֶ֙מֶשׂ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הוּא־חַ֔י לָכֶ֥ם יִהְיֶ֖ה לְאׇכְלָ֑ה כְּיֶ֣רֶק עֵ֔שֶׂב נָתַ֥תִּי לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־כֹּֽל׃ (ד) אַךְ־בָּשָׂ֕ר בְּנַפְשׁ֥וֹ דָמ֖וֹ לֹ֥א תֹאכֵֽלוּ׃ (ה) וְאַ֨ךְ אֶת־דִּמְכֶ֤ם לְנַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶם֙ אֶדְרֹ֔שׁ מִיַּ֥ד כׇּל־חַיָּ֖ה אֶדְרְשֶׁ֑נּוּ וּמִיַּ֣ד הָֽאָדָ֗ם מִיַּד֙ אִ֣ישׁ אָחִ֔יו אֶדְרֹ֖שׁ אֶת־נֶ֥פֶשׁ הָֽאָדָֽם׃ (ו) שֹׁפֵךְ֙ דַּ֣ם הָֽאָדָ֔ם בָּֽאָדָ֖ם דָּמ֣וֹ יִשָּׁפֵ֑ךְ כִּ֚י בְּצֶ֣לֶם אֱלֹהִ֔ים עָשָׂ֖ה אֶת־הָאָדָֽם׃ (ז) וְאַתֶּ֖ם פְּר֣וּ וּרְב֑וּ שִׁרְצ֥וּ בָאָ֖רֶץ וּרְבוּ־בָֽהּ׃ {ס}
(א) וּבָרִיךְ יְיָ יָת נֹח וְיָת בְּנוֹהִי וַאֲמַר לְהוֹן פּוּשׁוּ וּסְגוּ וּמְלוּ יָת אַרְעָא: (ב) וְדַחֲלַתְכוֹן וְאֵימַתְכוֹן תְּהֵי עַל כָּל חֵוַת אַרְעָא וְעַל כָּל עוֹפָא דִשְׁמַיָּא בְּכֹל דִּי תַרְחֵישׁ אַרְעָא וּבְכָל נוּנֵי יַמָּא בְּיֶדְכוֹן יְהוֹן מְסִירִין: (ג) כָּל רִחֲשָׁא דְּהוּא חַי לְכוֹן יְהֵי לְמֵיכָל כִּירוֹק עִשְׂבָּא יְהָבִית לְכוֹן יָת כֹּלָּא: (ד) בְּרַם בִּשְׂרָא בְּנַפְשֵׁיהּ דְּמֵיהּ לָא תֵכְלוּן: (ה) וּבְרַם יָת דִּמְכוֹן לְנַפְשָׁתֵיכוֹן אֶתְבַּע מִיַּד כָּל חַיְתָא אֶתְבְּעִנֵּיהּ וּמִיַּד אֱנָשָׁא מִיַּד גְּבַר דְּיֵשׁוֹד יָת דְּמָא דַאֲחוֹהִי אֶתְבַּע יָת נַפְשָׁא דֶאֱנָשָׁא: (ו) דְּיֵשׁוֹד דְּמָא דֶאֱנָשָׁא בְּסַהֲדִין עַל מֵימַר דַּיָּנַיָּא דְּמֵיהּ יִתְּשָׁד אֲרֵי בְּצַלְמָא דַיְיָ עֲבַד יָת אֱנָשָׁא: (ז) וְאַתּוּן פּוּשׁוּ וּסְגוּ אִתְיְלִידוּ בְאַרְעָא וּסְגוּ בַהּ:
1. Hashem blessed Noach and his sons. He said to them, “Be fertile and increase, and fill the land. 2. Fear of you and dread of you will be upon all the animals of the land and upon all the birds of the sky, on everything with which the earth crawls, and upon all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. 3. Every creature that lives will be yours to eat. Like the green herbs, I have given you everything. 4. However, flesh with its lifeblood you may not eat. 5. Additionally, for the-blood of your lives I will require a reckoning. I will require it from every living thing and from mankind. From every man who spills the blood of his brother, I will require a reckoning for human life. 6. Whoever sheds the blood of man in front of witnesses, his blood shall be shed by court order because man was made in Hashem’s image. 7. Be fertile, increase, reproduce[13] on the land and increase in it.”
