Eikev - R'vi'i

God had Moshe replace the tablets that he had broken and place them in a wooden ark. (This may or may not refer to the familiar gold-plated Aron of the Mishkan; it depends who you ask.)

God appointed the Tribe of Levi to serve Him in the Tabernacle. This is why the Levites do not have a portion of land in Israel; God Himself is their portion.

Moshe spent another 40 days on Mt. Sinai with God, Who agreed not to destroy the nation. Eventually, it was time to make another attempt at entering the land. ("Eventually" would be 38 years later!)
