If the first day of Succos fell on Shabbos, the lulav was taken on all seven days, otherwise it was only taken for six days.
Succah 4:3
If the seventh day fell on Shabbos, the aravos ceremony was performed all seven days of Succos, otherwise it was only performed for six days.
