Kesubos 9:4-5

Kesubos 9:4

If a man set his wife up managing a store or as a financial trustee, he may extract an oath from her at any time (the same as with any other business partner). Rabbi Eliezer says he may even require an oath regarding her spindle and her dough.

Kesubos 9:5

If a man wrote that he exempts his wife from any vows and oaths, he may not demand an oath from her but he may demand an oath from her heirs or from her representatives. If he wrote that he exempts his wife, her heirs and her representatives from any vows and oaths, he may not demand an oath from her, her heirs and her representatives, but his heirs may demand an oath from her, her heirs and her representatives. If he wrote that not he nor his heirs nor his representatives have any right to vows and oaths from her, her heirs and her representatives, then he, his heirs and his representatives may not demand an oath from her, her heirs and her representatives.
