Kesubos 13:9-10

Kesubos 13:9

If two people produce documents, each showing that the other owes him money, Admon says that the one with the later document can claim, “If I owed you money, how could you borrow from me?”The Sages say that each litigant collects on the strength of his document.

Kesubos 13:10

There are three territories when it comes to marriage: Judah, Transjordan and the Galilee. A man cannot compel his wife to move from a town in one territory to a town in another, or from a city in one territory to a city in another. Within the same territory, he can compel her to move from one town to another but not from a town to a city or from a city to a town. He may compel her to move from a bad place to a good place but not vice versa. Rabban Gamliel says he can’t even compel her to move from a bad place to a good place because the move might have adverse effects.
