Nedarim 6:4-5

Nedarim 6:4

If one says, “fish, fishes I do not taste,” he may not have any kind of fish, neither large nor small, salted or not, cooked or not. He is permitted to have the juice from fish and tarit, a kind of ready-made fish hash that was called by its own name and not “fish.” If a person vows, prohibiting himself from fish hash, he may not have tarit, the juice from fish or the liquid in which fish were pickled. If one vows, prohibiting himself from tarit, he may not have the juice from fish or the liquid in which fish were pickled.

Nedarim 6:5

If one vows, prohibiting himself from milk, he may have whey, though Rabbi Yosi does not permit this. If he makes a vow prohibiting himself from whey, he may have milk. Abba Shaul says that if one prohibits cheese to himself, he may have neither salted nor unsalted cheese.
