Kiddushin 1:8-9
Kiddushin 1:8
Placing hands on the heads of sacrificial animals, waving the offerings, bringing near to the altar, taking the handful of flour, burning on the altar, nipping the heads of bird offerings, sprinkling blood on the altar and receiving the blood of the sacrifices could only be performed by men and not by women. The exception is the flour offering of a sotah (woman suspected of adultery) and a female nazir, which they wave themselves.
Kiddushin 1:9
A mitzvah that is dependent on the land is only performed in Israel; one that is not dependent on the land is performed both in Israel and elsewhere. The exceptions are orlah (not eating the produce of the first three years) and planting mixed species in a vineyard. Rabbi Eliezer says also chadash (not eating the new grain until after the time of the omer offering).
