Bereshit - Chamishi
Flutes and Swords
Lemech had two wives, Adah and Tzilah. Adah had two sons: Yaval, who started the art of nomadic herding, and Yuval, who perfected musical instruments. Tzilah’s son Tuval Kayin perfected weaponry. (“Tuval Kayin” could mean that he improved upon the work of Cain, i.e., people killing one another.) Tzilah’s daughter was Naamah (according to tradition, the wife of Noah).
