Pursuant to the previous halacha, if the employer told the worker to transport barrels for a prutah each, which he did, and barrels of (non-Jewish) wine were found among them, only the wages for the barrels of wine is prohibited; the rest of the worker’s salary remains permitted.

Maachalos Assuros 13:20

If a non-Jew sends Jewish craftsmen a barrel of wine as part of their payment, they are allowed to tell him to give them its value instead; once it enters their domain, they are no longer permitted to do so.
