Yehoshua ben Prachya and Nitai of Arbel received the Torah from Yosi ben Yoezer and Yosi ben Yochanan. Yehoshua ben Prachya said get yourself a teacher, acquire yourself a friend and judge every person favorably.
Avos 1:7
Nitai of Arbel said stay away from a bad neighbor, do not associate with evil people, and do not allow yourself to think that there won’t be payback for misdeeds.
