Avos 3:4

Rabbi Chanina ben Chachinai said that one who stays awake at night, walks on the road alone, or turns towards idleness, sins against himself (because these things are dangerous).

Avos 3:5

Rabbi Nechuniah ben Hakana said that one who accepts upon himself the yoke of Torah is relieved of the yokes of government and worldly concerns. Conversely, one who casts off the yoke of the Torah has the yokes of government and worldly concerns placed upon him.
