2,383. Handling Wine

Maachalos Assuros 11:4

Wine handled by a non-Jew is prohibited because it might have been poured as a libation. Therefore, it is prohibited to benefit even from a Jew’s wine if it was handled by a non-Jew. Such wine is subject to the same rules as regular non-Jewish wine.

Maachalos Assuros 11:5

If a non-Jew touched wine unintentionally, or if a non-Jewish child touched it, it is prohibited for drinking but permitted for benefit. If servants were purchased from a non-Jew and they were circumcised and immersed right away, they no longer pour libations to idols. It is therefore permitted to drink wine that they have touched even if they don’t yet act Jewish and they still talk about idolatry.
