Avos 4:16

Rabbi Yaakov said that this world is like the entryway to the Next World. We should prepare ourselves here in the entryway so that we may then enter the banquet.

Avos 4:17

Rabbi Yaakov used to say that one hour of repentance and good deeds in this world is better than the entirety of life in the Next World, while one hour of bliss in the Next World is better than the entirety of life in this world.
